I’m aware. But for his age, Roger Moore looked pretty good to me in Live And Let Die and The Man With The Golden Gun. *Maybe* that’s because you can compare him to how old he looks in A View To A Kill. Regardless, he is still the oldest actor to be cast as Bond for his first outing.

Not when they started, IMO.

I actually remember ads for that show on the “History” Channel

I wonder if the Internet wants actors to only have 1 film runs as Bond so that the producers can get through casting every “fan favorite” for the role.

Thomas Colbert, one of the authors of that book, is also behind this “task force” that is trying to gin up interest in his theory. What the press releases don’t say is that the History Channel tried to bribe Rackstraw into confessing on camera. (The linked video also has plenty of other people who were considered

AV Club pieces the news together mostly from old sugar packets.

Funny that you make that comparison...

I’ll post the question on Yahoo Answers.  Pretty sure Alex Jones hasn’t been kicked off there yet.

Communism is just a red herring. Just like DB Cooper!!!!1! It was Tim Curry!

All white people look the same to me too, man.

lol Yeah, I wouldn’t have remembered this DB Cooper thing at all if hadn’t been for that Goober in a Nutshell episode of NewsRadio. #tubalcain

Yacht rock doesn’t have to make sense, it has to sound good while you’re wearing an unbuttoned shirt and boat shoes.

Toto has been famously mercurial about the meaning behind the lyrics, but IMHO the story is roughly this:

1. Young missionary is sent to Africa to do what missionaries do.
2. He finds himself just sort of taking over the job of the old shamans—performing blessings mostly. Now he blesses everything, the dirt, the sky,

Because apparently it can turn into your biggest hit in a decade.

Nah, I’m good.

Ask Gwar to cover it then.

You know Africa by Toto? It sounds like that.

My favorite line is the one my wife continuously mishears (and mis-sings) as “There’s nothing that a hundred men on Mars could never do.”

Don’t forget this one:

Yeah, I didn’t realize some rando teenager spearheaded this, but ... it’s... fine? Like, it sounds JUST LIKE Toto. They bring nothing new to it. I don’t get it. I won’t turn it off, but neither does it excite me.
