Is it gonna be like Eternal Darkness or Amnesia, or are they just implying they're gonna add big snakes and spiders cuz some people flip out over snakes and spiders? I have a feeling it's the latter, in typical marketing speak.

Exactly. It's a rhythm that they try to maintain so they don't lose pace.
Good. I missed the more refined anime styles back in the day from the likes of someone like Mamoru Oshii and, erm, Mamoru Oshii.
Play what, Me3 over again? Again, there's ways of editing the save with Gibbed to bring your character back up to speed in ME3. All actions (or lack thereof) from previous games are also available to edit. That's kind of the point of the save editor.
+1 on this. I also lost my ME2 save due to a hard drive failure, and Gibbed saved me from a world of frustration. While creating a save from scratch with Gibbed is a meticulous and headache-inducing experience, best thing to do is to find a public save file (like on Mass Effect Saves) that is similar to your own…
Most gamers are addicted. They may gripe and moan about the costs and about the privacy and about the restrictions, but in the end they'll still keeping coming back to the dealer in the alley (e.g. EA) to get their fix.
"Warning: May provide fuel for violent uprisings."
You do realize this is the Lucasarts logo for Grim Fandango, yes?
Update: Found the problem. Elements for the right-side comics are overlapping the ones for the left-side's Expand button, preventing interaction. Only exception is Virtual Shackles, whose dimensions are small enough that they don't overlap with Brentalfloss. Looks like the comics are originally positioned left-aligned…
As a bug report, some of the left-side comics have an inert Expand button (does not light up nor expand with click), specifically Corpse Run and Awkward Zombie. Brentalfloss works fine though, for some reason. Firefox ESR 17.0.4.
That style is common for concept art. Simple digital brushes in an effort to quickly sketch a design. For Homeworld, however, it was the primary art design, whereas other artists would refine it further.
Shame I could distinguish from this video when Simpsons started taking a nosedive.
Gosh, I haven't heard of the dismount games in ages. I remember having loads of fun with the original stair and truck dismounts.
Here we go again. As before, it's been made clearly evident that Earthbound is an edge case because it is steeped in music references, particularly Beatles. Purchasing licenses would be very expensive, and altering the content to remove such references would not only be a considerable task, it'll compromise the entire…
If you desire story continuity, you'll wanna play from the beginning. However, commonly people consider Thief 2 to be the hallmark of the series, yet everyone agrees they all are quite swell by themselves, each with their own pros and cons.
Wait a minute, did you refute his statement because you found it anecdotal, yet countered with an anecdote?
"when no one else is in the room."
That would be great for any other game, but would be quite a sacrilege for the Mother games. Those games are heavily influenced by the Beatles and other music artists. To strip the games of all ties to those artists, be they direct or indirect ties, would be an insult to the developers and to the community. It just…
pokemans is correct, the primary issue is that there's just too much risk due to potential copyright infringement based on the songs. There are parody laws that protect people, but the problem is that actual samples from Beatles songs were extracted for use in the game, which won't bode well for the sue-crazy American…
Which can still be played with a controller, on a couch, on a Saturday morning.
