I’m not excited at all and that is EXACTLY one of the biggest reasons. I hate that in BotW when you defeat a Divine Beasts or hard shine or whatever, you’d get rewarded a unique “legendary” type of weapon. But I would never use it since I knew it would break and I’d never be able to replace it. I thought maybe I

It’s me. Every time someone talks about how popular water levels are, it’s always me. I love them. Every last one. Watertemple georg here. Give me that limited air bar, give me the disorienting 3d movement that the console can’t quite handle. It will invariably be my favorite part of whatever game it is.

I was replaying Skyward Sword a few weeks back and I absolutely hated the water sections. Why in the fuck are you forced to do a spin to jump out of the water instead of just grabbing the ledge and pull yourself up? And dont even get me started on the section that you have to grab the notes in order without missing

Came down here to say this. It’s always the worst part of any game it’s included in. And with a series that’s known for the water temple, I’m not sure people are anxious to see anything close to it again.

I mean, honestly - and I say this as someone who regularly plays 80+ hour RPGs for the characters and story - has anyone ever really bought a Zelda game for the plot?

Alright, you’ve convinced me. Going out to purchase a Google Stadia now

They’ve had a contingency for every possible move Florida could make...for years/decades. Disney Legal games out EVERYTHING and had this gamed out long before Desantis was out of high school. Florida playing “make it up as you go checkers” and Disney is playing 4th dimensional Go.

A theme park turned prison in a dystopian state run by a conservative despot sounds like the final chapter in the Snake Plissken trilogy: Escape From Orlando.

It’s like watching two Kaiju smashing one another.

Disney:

I mean it’s pretty open-and-shut given that DeSantis said in a press conference that he was dissolving Reedy Creek as punishment, but as you said they’re going to slow burn this mofo for years. And I have plenty of popcorn.

It’s okay to oppose government bodies when they target businesses for strictly cultural reasons.

Microsoft has barely any exclusives and yet they bring all of them to Game Pass day one. If the CMA wants competition, then letting Microsoft continue to do this would force the other companies to try the same. Literally both Nintendo and Sony have TONS of exclusives AND they both have a gaming subscription service.

I’d put the entire BOTW Ganon fight here. The BOTW bosses were pretty terrible to begin with, but just rolling them into one for the final battle felt both lazy and tedious. I would’ve loved a Shadow of the Colossus -style battle where you have to navigate a giant Ganon to reach various weakpoints that require

There is no slow creep moving away from cosmetic MTX to pay-to-win MTX.  There have been pay-to-win MTX for years.  I would say they even predate cosmetic ones.  It’s not like this is suddenly a new thing.

Now playing

The result would probably be something like this:

One of Mario’s origin stories is being an Italian in Brooklyn.

He’s not Italian, he’s Japanese.

Good! It will become super cheap quickly, then I’ll grab it. This is what I did when PS Vita TV released, because everything pointed towards it being a failure. Eventually, they sold it at 1/4 of initial price, just to get rid of the stock.
