I don’t know. I didn’t try it from the app, but I did go the game management section on my XBox, checked for updates, and it reported there were none. So I thought, “Nice, Halo must have already updated”. But then I started the game and was faced with the download campaign option in-game.I wasn’t upset about it or

I get more of the impression that some fights are designed to make you think more strategically.

My friends and I have always jumped straight to legendary, but that is with co-op. In the absence of co-op I’ll probably start on normal. Part of me wants to wait until co-op is out to play it at all, but I don’t think I can resist.

Yeah, I just fired it up and it is right there at the top in the controls menu. Maybe it was missing from the PC version at launch?

No invert?  Pass for me too then.

To be fair the article notes there was controversy over the title in Japan.

Nah.  He has one of the best late night type shows around.

I haven’t seen it yet, but the people I know that have all loved it.

You’re correct and that’s fair. But after I read your Washington Post quote I had to throw my two cents out on what they said. It was more about being a bit surprised they would say that about the game than an attempt to push back on what you said.  Because, yes, that does qualify as acclaim.  I just don’t know how

Except the bit where I quoted the conclusion telling all critics to go somewhere else.

And seems to be trying to deliberately define anyone who has serious concerns with a product as of the same nature as those posting death threats

The Washington Post called it a “visually stunning, incredibly efficient feat of storytelling.” They’re critics and that certainly sounds like acclaim.

Thanks for posting this.  Between this article and the glowing comments about the game I’ll be checking this out.  It completely flew under my radar with the various holiday releases.

Yes, but OTOH this is all for meaningless cosmetic stuff.  If you just ignore that stuff you can play the game for free.

Ehh… a fair number of games get a lot of coverage for different reasons. I guess you could go the conspiracy route and say they are all paid, but given the nature of some of the articles I doubt it. For example, using the clunky search feature I count 14 FH5 articles since it launched. I count 12 for BF2042 and 17

I felt like it nailed the feeling of Aliens. I really felt like I was in an Aliens movie the whole time I was playing.

I wouldn’t call it terrible. It’s OK, but very repetitive and I felt the final level was a let down. But I still enjoyed playing it with friends.  I think it’s perfect for a service like Game Pass.

This has always been a bit of a faulty argument.  By that logic no problem should be tackled except whichever one is perceived to be the worst.

There are inherent advantages and for those alone cross play should be an option you can disable. However, that is not at all the sole thing happening here. As the article mentions there is no client side anti-cheat system or even an in-game reporting system. So the hacks are more prevalent. There are plenty of

I mean the original is fake too as it is just a TV show.  There was never a threat of death on either.
