TBF Just Cause is just a slightly wilder Mercenaries.

A “special thanks” could be for the guy who made sandwiches in the cafeteria for all anyone knows.

It does have offline, but TCP/IP for MP isn’t available. Realistically most people would still choose to play online so I don’t think having the TCP/IP option would affect anything to a noticeable degree here.  I also think not mixing the two, which would be the other option, is not a good idea.

Those are good examples. I guess there is a certain amount of janky game play that people will put up with for an immersive story. But I still think there are limits for most people.

OK. How else is one to read that other than a question? Either way if you read some of the comments the fans it’s a mix of multiple things.

I think most people play any game for the core gameplay. For example, most people would not play a genre they dislike just because the story was good. However, I feel a lot of people also enjoy when a good story is attached.

It’s also a very different kind of game. It’s easy for landmarks to stand out in the middle of a field. It’s a different thing when you are playing in the middle of London with hundreds of buildings around. Incidentally some of these games do offer the option to have less guided missions.

I like it. I keep hoping they’ll add some transparent options to their Design Lab.

I can’t help but notice the disparity in the complaints listed in the article. First you have some critics griping that FC6 hasn’t changed enough, but then all the complaints from fans about games like GR Frontline and The Division Heartland are all based on the games changing too much. That’s not to say there isn’t

Apparently the lightning thing happens to a handful people in the US every year.  Maybe they are all in old houses?  Either way it’s not entirely a myth.

Same. The more colorful versions look much better IMO. The “correct” version looks washed out. Which is likely more accurate given the dated LCD tech in the GBA, but that is just a reflection of a tech limitation of the day. It doesn’t mean it is actually better. A more accurate replication? Yes. Better? Nah.

I guess after 10 years I should finally watch one.  I don’t even know when they happen.  I just see the news after the fact.

Yeah, what is there is generally fun, but it really needed more content/boards. And the game’s format should make it so easy to crank out some DLC. I really don’t understand why Nintendo won’t do more for a series that sells so well. Or maybe that is the problem? They’ve seen they can get away with the bare

I’ll take Metroid, but pass on the rest. I won’t be buying another Mario Party game after the half assed last effort that got no post launch support.

There are practical reasons for not allowing such things. Namely so people don’t get conned into thinking these are the actual people. It sounds silly, but people fall for hordes of scams that I think are obvious.

I was going to comment on both of those two as well.  I can roll with the rest, but those two?  Ugh.

I agree, but not sure of the relevance here.

Deflecting? You should change your name to SmaugThePretentious. It would be far more accurate.

Also people are doing plenty about global warming, you absolute knob, lol
