Same. I’ll admit I’ll probably download it and fire it up just to get a good look at it, but I won’t play through the game until I can play with my friends. Co-op is the only way I play the game.

And friend and I managed to play through the whole game. And, yeah, we had multiple crashes and instances where bosses either didn’t spawn at all or spawned in multiples where there was only intended to be one.
I agree. I get that CD Projekt intentionally hid the state of Cyberpunk from customers and game journalists, but the bottom line is that both Cyberpunk 2077 and The Ascent launched terribly buggy builds.
Guess it depends on the person and what you are trying to do.
*they don’t mysterious shatter
where we are conditioned to think the gear is the gratification for playing the game. Playing the game should be the gratification for playing the game......
I hate weapon durability systems and BotW is one of the worst offenders I’ve played. The weapons all break way too fast. If forced to pick one to use the weapon durability system I’d lean toward is something like Monster Hunter where your weapons just lose sharpness and become less effective, but they mysteriously…
It still sucks no matter how many excuses you want to plaster over the system. Weapon durability in games is nearly always a chore, but BotW ups the ante by making them break absurdly fast. Like they are made from kiln fired clay.
What even qualifies as “on ice” for a franchise like Diablo? We’re talking about a remake of a game that is 21 years old and Diablo 3 is over 9 years old. They take so long to release a new game that the franchise is effectively on ice between each release.
They do put a lot of that stuff in their games, but I’ve never felt like there such a hurdle in my way in the game that I felt tempted.
That sounds like a terribly annoying game.
WipeOut is, very quietly, one of the most important video game series to have ever lived thanks to its role in selling the original PlayStation as something genuinely “cool”,
Pop offs are stupid. Play stupid games and all that.
This strikes me as an issue that would only be noticed by a small number of people… like people that cover games for a living. Because I very rarely take any screenshots and certainly not in quick succession. What I’m saying is I’ve never even noticed this so it was far from an annoying problem and much less the…
I don’t really recall doing much grinding in those games, but I also tend to do a few side quests along the way especially early. So maybe I did just enough to not encounter that.
Why is the entertainment industry different? Why do you need a list of credits at the consumer level? What makes it so different? Everyone else just lists references and work experience and maybe brings some examples in a portfolio.
Well, I’ve never had a list of credits shoved in my face anywhere other than the entertainment industry.
I enjoy a nice tight narratively driven game, but I have personally not felt like AC or other Ubi open world games disrespected my time.
TBF plenty of sites, including this network of sites, do a monthly what is coming to and going from Netflix post. This is pretty much the same thing.
Here is what I’ve wondered about this question. A LOT of people did the covert your Live to Ultimate for $1 thing. I did and had 3 years of Ultimate for $1. I’m still on that 3 years right now.
