Yup. DLC boards seems like such a no brainer. Especially since the base game, as you note, comes with a paltry 4. And for the last year so many people have largely been stuck at home. Some DLC boards would have been a welcome diversion. I’m not buying the next MP game if it too has so few boards.

Yeah, depends on the game.  Some just put you right back where you died and others set you back to a previous checkpoint.

I saw that London pool earlier today before seeing this article. What happens in the video of the pool in Brazil is pretty close to what I pictured when I saw that London pool. Not that I’m buying a $1M+ apartment in London any time soon, but even if I were I’d be saying no thanks to that pool.

Well, first, I wasn’t saying how amazing it was or was not. But, no, his fingers are moving way faster than hers most of the time. Not sure how you can claim otherwise. She definitely gets going at times and she’s doing it over a longer time period, but his average speed over his shorter session is much faster.

This article is stupid. He’s not cute enough? Really?

Disagree.  It makes a big difference.  Something affecting gameplay is pay to win.  I agree that if it is in the form of loot boxes it still preys on the whole gambling aspect, but pay to win is an important distinction that should not be ignored.

I like it!

You’ve seen some odd penguins.

I like it better than a health bar.  It is easier to see.  However, some games (and some games very recently) make it too pronounced and obnoxious.  As you point out it can start to interfere with gameplay.  Just keep it to a little redness at the edges or corners.

A game you bought with the intention to play, but have yet to get to it.  This is how I view it and seems like the easiest and most straight forward definition.

When you watch the chat you can see how they all begin to sense it coming and start flipping out before he even finishes.

I hated that stupid hitch in the middle of the GC controller trigger pull. It was there in all game whether it meant anything in the game or not plus it wasn’t the most obvious demarcation in the middle of action. However, this sounds a LOT more natural to use. Plus it isn’t permanent.

Yeah, I’m not a fan of roguelikes nor does having to do a bunch of scanning sound fun. I have hated scanning crap in games pretty much every time I’ve had to do it. But, yeah, I love Housemarque. So now I’m torn. This might be a wait for a sale type of game for me. I just have a hunch it won’t be for me despite

Definitely. Cost, or lack thereof, is certainly an upside to sticking with a small number of games. I just can’t do it though. Somewhere between 60 and 80 hours I really start to get tired of most games and they start to feel like work.

I like to move from game to game and get a lot of different experiences rather than play one or two games endlessly. And I really don’t have time to dedicate to one endless service game or MMO and still play the other games I want.

A lot of these games have reasonably sized campaigns. I’ll play a game like The Division 2 through the main campaign and have a good 40+ hours sunk into the game. Which by most non-service games standards is plenty. Then maybe I’ll tinker with the end game for a bit then and just move on. You don’t have to stick

You should really just leave some of them behind. IMO it’s not worth trying to keep up with that many service type games.

Zero. I had one game week or two ago when similar topic came up, but I’ve formally started it now.

Give me a break. Empathy? For people crying because a few streamers skipped the queue to perform a paid gig? AYSM? You really need to get out and look at the world because your perspective is jacked.

“You could do it in MM2, except you can’t.”
