The term “sex sells” is most often used in reference to using sexy things to sell something. He used it exactly as it is most commonly used. Also, let’s dive into this distinction. You do understand that a bunch of the viewers are watching to ogle titties, right? Why do you suppose they do that? Because they are

And sex sells.

I liked it quite a bit. However, it was also my first Watch Dogs game so I don’t have a point of comparison within the series.  But as someone coming in and trying it out for the first time it was a good game.

Nah, they were never mocked for BC support. It was the price of the resulting hardware that people didn’t accept. That’s much less of an issue now that the hardware is more standardized and the older gens could be more easily emulated.

That’s one way to spin a negative.

This is a pretty lazy excuse though. They used to do a better job when there were more dramatic differences in hardware. Now it’s all pretty standardized hardware.  Both could easily do more if they cared to do so.

That was my feeling too. The demo opens with you landing on a lush and vibrant planet and then immediately drops you into a muddy brown and gray mess.  I guess that is just part of the story, but it really killed my drive to see more.

It was kind of funny reading your reply right after the reply above yours.  Two completely different takes.

I knew it was nonsense when they recently claimed they would have plenty of stock for 2021.  I’ll be surprised if they ship anything in 2021.

Same! I keep hoping it will get BC support as well. But it’s kind of an niche title.  I still won’t part with the disc though.  Same with the other I listed, Critical Depth.  I have both games complete in box and refuse to get rid of either one.

My friends I used to try and get the other teams down to one inured player limping around. Then we would stand on either side of the goal and one time the disc back and forth through the goal while the other team’s player limped across the arena for health. If they did manage to pick up health we would beat them

I’ve got two that come to mind. First is Critical Depth (PS1). A vehicular combat game made by SingleTrac (of Twisted Metal fame) after they were purchased by GT Interactive. The game is fantastic and one of my favorite games of all time. Adding the third dimension to the combat (e.g. a lot of verticality compared

We see this all the time. I do not understand how so many software companies have such sloppy software archiving.

This is good stuff, Ethan. You probably don’t have time to do it, but a Shinra Twitter account that mimics/mocks Amazon all the time would be hilarious.

No one would read this and consider it to be marketing. Yet that is your claim. Your position is basically that if they talk about the game in any context then all they have done is free marketing. That’s ridiculous. There is nothing wrong with laying out what they feel are problems with the game.

That's a stupid and pointless position.  You can't just ignore issues and expect them to go away.

Same.  This is the first gen where I prefer the Sony controllers.  Not only do they have a bunch of features that Xbox controllers do not they are finally a comfortable size.

Maybe just inferring that there must be issues for him to be leaving so soon after joining.

I bet there was a good amount of culture shock going from a company like Nintendo to Gamestop.

It’s odd that now the Xbox controllers are smaller than the PS controllers. It’s been the opposite until now.
