Yeah, I’d probably recommend Beta to most users interested in this program. I was in Skip Ahead for a while and went back to Beta so I would get fewer updates and bugs yet still get stuff a little early. The Alpha stuff IS interesting, but as you say it does come with more issues.

Nah, fuck that.  That was not the time or situation for that bullshit.

I really don’t get the love for Discord. It’s like a modern IRC, but still just as ugly.

What? They are the best weapon against the Flood. Have you actually played Halo?

I can’t speak to that, but I also think the English version makes more sense with the context. Presumably your character won’t be smiling in that situation so it makes sense for Haurchefant to basically ask you to smile. In the French version he’s telling you he likes your smile and to remember his when neither are

“A smile better suits a hero,” while nice on its face, feels impersonal. It’s something a writer would make someone say in order to squeeze more feeling out of a moment like an emotion juicer. But, “You have such a beautiful smile, try not to forget mine.” That’s something someone real would say.

He is completely correct. Did you seriously not notice it? I loved FF7R, but there were times, like the doors, where there would be a surface with a texture that looked like it came straight from a PS1 game. It happened over and over and over. It happened so often I couldn’t decide if these were intentional

Yes, you need the cake, but the point is if both parties are offering cake then customer service becomes more of a determining factor.

To a degree this is true, but right now Sony’s only saving grace is having had a great line up of games last gen. Which, yes, matters a lot. However, if Microsoft’s studio acquisitions start paying off down the road then suddenly these QoL issues become a big deal. Sony has been getting away with taking their user

Nah, I encountered a crap ton of bugs on my XSX. There was a new one nearly every time I played.

I think having an over the top schtick, selling sex, or having an edge of some sort helps build an audience.

When I first looked at the picture I thought it was a melted Switch.

Personally, I don’t think the Series X is any easier. The Series S seems to linger, but the X seems to sell out just as fast. The demand for the PS5 does seem much higher and the sales numbers I’ve seen agree with that, but PS5s also seems to come into stock more often. I think Sony is cranking them out faster.

This is a game I’ve thought about trying, but never got around to it. GP makes for a great opportunity to give it a shot.  You make it sound pretty good overall.

I think it mostly comes down to pre-order bonuses and pre-loading. Obviously the former is a tactic by publishers/devs to get you to commit to a purchase early, but it works and sometimes the bonuses are nice.

You don’t think MS and SE have crunched all the numbers behind the scene? Surely they know GP subscribers are most likely going to play the game there.  You make it sound like people should feel guilty about actually using their Game Pass sub.

Ahh… now that I look at it again that does seem to be the case.

There’s also a third peak on one of the blades (or whatever those things are).

To send these invites, we had to go through the Xbox’s internal guide. And yes, the system listed “playing Watch Dogs: Legion” as the status for both of our profiles.) So, in the face of failure, we did what you’re supposed to do in any cooperative game: played alone.

I won’t argue that it’s better than Mario, but Crash is also very different than the two series you mentioned. Mario generally has better quality games, but they don’t give you the same kind of gameplay. So I think there is value in playing Crash if you want something different than the millionth Mario game.
