Ditto! It’s hard to see being a black button on a black background and it’s hard to reach sitting squarely between the two sticks. It’s the one part of the controller that feels like it was tacked on at the very end with no thought put into it.  At a minimum color it somehow to make it visible.  Preferably make it

I’ve wondered this too. I figure it is, as you suggest, so that the controller won’t try to charge non-rechargeable batteries. However, we have some cordless house phones that use AA rechargeable batteries and one time I put non-rechargeable batteries in there and the display said something like “Use Rechargeable

Oooh... I didn’t know these existed. I’ve been covering annoying LEDs with black electrical tape and then maybe cutting a tiny slit if I do need to see the LED occasionally.

I HATE bright LEDs on electronics. In my bedroom I have several electronic devices with stupid bright LEDs that now have black electrical tape over them so I can get some damn sleep.

This is not entirely true. Rechargeable batteries absolutely do degrade naturally over time. That’s why when you buy stand alone rechargeable batteries they usually include some note about how many charge cycles they will be good for. This is a very well known issue.

I think fan art is technically illegal whether it is for profit or not. Especially when it is basically a direct copy. I don’t how this affects his case if he wanted to take legal action against Nintendo, but if nothing else they could  likely counter sue.

I can see where that would be confusing if you don’t have the system. And, yeah, I guess Sony did include a USB-A to USB-C cable. I forgot about that because I don’t use it. But, yes, the port on the controller itself is USB-C.

The controller is USB-C and there is a USB-C on the front of the console.

I think it looks better in with the disc drive down, but eye of the beholder and all that.  That aside I doubt anything bad would happen from doing this.  So you do you.

I normally do as well though the white PS5 motif has grown on me. My main concern will be how the white plastic holds up over time. White plastic tends to yellow over time and this will potentially happen faster with a white controller that is in your hands all the time.

I like the stock look personally. The main problem I see with these is I think the stock buttons look better being translucent with the symbols below the button. It looks like you lose the translucent buttons with all their button options and instead get colored buttons with printing on top.

This discussion makes me think of a funny little trick you could do with CD Audio games. You could hot swap the disc out after the game loaded and put in a music CD and then the game would play music tracks off your music CD.  Most of time this was more trouble than it was worth because you would need to swap the

I prefer having options. Last gen the PS4 controllers had abysmal battery life and there was little you could do about it. I put Eneloops Pros in my X1 controller and they lasted MUCH longer. Like tens of hours more.

LOL... OK.

What makes you think they’ve given up on consoles and software after just launching two new consoles and opening or acquiring over 20 studios the last few years?  Consoles are clearly part of a larger plan to have a platform spanning consoles, PCs, and mobile, but I’m seeing no evidence they’ve given up on anything.

A fair number still used CD Audio. What’s funny about that and the file size is that you can find game downloads with the music audio stripped out and the file sizes often shrink incredible amounts. A game that might initially be some like 600MB will shrink to like 40MB without the audio tracks. It will still be a

I doubt most people care or even notice.  I never once thought about the size of Vs apartment and, in fact, never returned there after the opening.

There are two groups here that would complain. First, you’ll have people that just complain because there are too many black people. I don’t really care about them. But there is a second well meaning group that will accuse the show of more or less burying the truth. Of course, some of those are complaining even

I kind of liked that they bothered to explain it rather than ignoring that the situation being represented wasn’t factual. It seems like they lose either way here. Because if they had said nothing then there would be people saying that the show is pretending race wasn’t issue. Which, BTW, I have seen people say

Same. I still think of them as his children.
