Hah! I spent a minute or trying to figure out how to shut the thing down. I kept holding the PS button waiting for a pop up menu and nothing would happen. After about a minute I finally noticed the power button at the far right of that menu bar.  As far as I can tell a long press seems to do nothing.  So why not

But why do you have 4?

Any success?

Good luck!

I think co-op makes virtually any game better.

No filter looks best to me.

Just an update. I got my Series X hooked up via HDMI port 3 tonight (set to Dolby Vision currently) and played with it for about 5 hours tonight. No crashes. I have no idea why so many others are apparently having issues with this latest firmware update, but mine is rock solid. The TV has never crashed on me. Not

No, I’m using WiFi. I’m not currently using HDMI ports 3 and 4. At some point after the update launched (I’m not exactly sure when my TV updated) I checked the HDMI port settings for 3 and 4 to see if they were showing the new formats and they do. This is about to change as I will be connecting my Series X tonight

and it’s causing full TV crashes several times a day for pretty much everyone. Doesn’t matter what app you’re using or if you’rewatching TV, or if you’re just on one of the HDMI inputs

It’s not just that though. For example, I’ll be playing a single player game like FIFA and then one of my friends will jump online and want me to join them in a co-op or MP game. You can’t save a game mid-match so usually I’ll have to say something like, “Give me 10 minutes to finish this match and then I’ll join

This feature?  I would assume that if you have both systems you can play PS5 games in another room via your PS4.  For some people I’m sure this has no use, but for others this will be a welcome feature.

Uh oh. I’ve not seen it spike like that yet, but if feels like I’m pretty deep in the game.  What you described sounds awful.

Yup, I’ve not noticed any trend as what is causing the crashes. I can be doing seemingly anything and it will suddenly crash.

Yeah, what you described is what I’ve wanted to play for a while now. I own a PS4, which has Gran Turismo, but that’s kind of “too serious” for me. Give me launching a Volkswagen beetle off a cliff!

Does it lock and then kick you back to the dashboard? If so, that is what it does to me on XBox too. This has happened to me 4 or 5 times and I’d say I’m maybe 2/3 of the way through the main story with a few side missions and operatives recruitments thrown in.  I haven’t had an audio bug.  Maybe that doesn’t happen

He is absolutely correct on this. Don’t bury your head in the sand.

Yeah, I think the Series S vs PS5 DE is an apples to oranges comparison.

Hopefully Sony is timely in updating whatever approval lists they plan to publish.  On paper Samsung EVO 980 Pros are more than fast enough. At least the 500GB and up.

Nice!

I doubt that would happen because the Elite controllers would represent such a tiny percentage of the controllers in use. Plus, they would then be stuck trying to convince gamers that they need to pay $150+ for features the PS5 DualSense offers at less than half the price. Which, honestly, may be a bit problematic
