I had the same thought. I think one of the main advantages will be in games that aren’t online.  You should be able to resume straight into the middle of a session.   So you aren’t just skipping the initial load you are also skipping loading your save/level.

The XBox controllers have been my favorite for the past couple of generations, but I really wish MS had done more with then this upcoming gen. I’m sure I’ll find them just as comfortable as ever, but I’m really looking forward to playing with the DualSense controllers. They are packed with features and the various

I suspect I’m far more likely to find bad British acting intrusive and unforgivable than bad American acting. It’s something about familiarity, I would think. I wonder if the reverse is true for American players, more easily frustrated by a bad Southern drawl.

We could even have some bad apples in Dedsec because humans are complex, and we have to trim them out or teach them about what they are doing so they can better themselves, that’d be pretty cool.

I wont be surprised if Cyberpunk 2077 breaks Grand Theft Auto V’s record.

Breakpoint borrowed so heavily from Assassin’s Creed that it barely felt like a Ghost Recon game

Probably just in terms of player numbers.  They may not want to drop the update when a chunk of their user base is going to be drawn elsewhere.

It takes time to track these things down. Especially something like this where:

Never mind... my question was already answered.

I’d like to know this as well give has poorly the PS4 controllers performed. The only related information I’ve seen so far is that the PS5 controllers have a 1560 mAh battery vs the 1000 mAh in the PS4 controller. So the battery is bigger, but I was hoping for 2000 mAh or bigger. Hopefully with systems and controlle

I don’t know why they even continue to bother with this. Seem like they should at least just kill the chat completely.  Because clearly trying to interact directly with viewers is never going to go well at this point.

I realise an endorsement like this sets a distasteful precedent—that these publishers could simply trot out old code with new rosters every year and charge money for it, and I’ll just lap it up

Almost 70 years ago, my Dad, who was born and raised in Oklahoma, was stationed in San Antonio for a year. I still remember him complaining about Texas drivers. His favorite line was “Texans don’t drive cars, they herd them.”

I‘ll admit it’s a bit of an outlier, but technically you are still consuming the movie even if generally a bad one.

Being interactive is precisely the key and why comparing to shows and music is apples to oranges.

I’m lucky to remember my own. And, really, most of the time it is barely visible in games anyway.

I would absolutely love a remake.  TM2, like a lot of PlayStation games, hasn’t aged well graphically, but it was a blast to play.  A modern remake would be wonderful.  Unfortunately vehicular combat have been out of favor for quite some time now.  Maybe Destruction All Stars will prove popular and renew interest.

I would want a full Xbox ecosystem somewhere. And that probably means things like Live and Game Pass and stuff.”

Yeah, so far the previews of both the PS5 and Series X say they are silent. But as you note they haven’t been playing true next gen games and they may not even be final retail units. But I’m hopeful.
