The amount of people who might suffer from something like Arachnophobia to such a degree that they can’t even see a virtual representation of a spider in a game without having the same reaction they would if one was on their person (and thus, can’t play said game) is so small as to be inconsequential.

I might use the PiP screen sharing. I’m fairly regularly in chats with friends while we are playing different games. And then inevitably they or I end up describing something going on in our respective games. Or maybe they are in the same game but they are seeing a glitch that I can’t see so they send me a screen

That’s the real crime here.

I’m confused by your control argument. Don’t they have that control now? The only reason I’m aware of that they have to release in theaters is for awards, but they can do limited releases for that. A lot of people have wanted home release options for a while now and it has been the theaters fighting against that.

Much better.

I haven’t tried Torchlight 3 yet so I can’t speak to this game, but in general I do what you are talking about. I’ll give any game I try a fair, but if it never hooks me reasonably early on or if I find I don’t look forward to playing it again I just drop it and move on.

I think Dragon Warrior may have been my first RPG.

I play both. But more specially my favorite would be the more action oriented Western RPGs along the lines of Skyrim or The Witcher.

I think the “expedited” version in most games is basically the “random” button. Just press it a few times until you hit on something you like and move on. That’s what I do. I don’t have the patience to start tinkering with bone structure and crap like that.

Haha... I have friends that do that too and it kind of annoys me. Not the default character, I don’t care about that, but the story skipping stuff. It’s annoying in co-op games that have story sequences that can either be skipped by the host or can be skipped individually by players. So if I’m not the host my

Yes! You do close to what I do. I don’t have time for all that crap. I hit random a few times until I get something I can live with and move on.

I’d wager most people don’t make themselves exactly, but probably an idealized version of themselves or someone that would like to be.

This is apparently going to be an issue:

To be fair, I have no concrete proof that this only happens to Black people.

Yeah, I played with a friend.  We each built a base because we enjoy the building aspect.  But after that we just lost interest.

Even as someone that generally loves Bethesda games Fallout 76 fell completely flat for me. I played a few times, but just couldn’t find a reason to keep playing. There was no clear reason to do anything. And when I’d actually try to do some early game low level quest a random scorpion 30 levels above me would dig

Seems like harmless fun. They should have left it up. It is kind of silly that the PS5 requires a stand to lay flat.

People giving in person previews of both next gen systems have said they are completely silent.  Also, you want large fans.  For any volume of air you need to move a larger fan can move it at lower RPMs.

Same. I have a standard sunroof and it’s virtually never open for that very reason. My wife’s vehicle does have a very expansive glass roof and she keeps it closed most of the time, but she seems to enjoy it being open more often than I do. I’d prefer having them open at night or on rainy days, but I don’t drive in

I think it’s more than Sony had this on a list of shit to-do and deprioritized it because the amount of people that are actually going to do it is hella small. The return on this investment is tiny
