Thank you for sharing this (and thanks to everyone’s kind responses). I passed on a bus ticket to DC for similar reasons. I can’t describe the guilt I feel—I won’t be taking part in a historic moment of unity against evil because I can’t “deal” but... I can’t. I’m going to do my part another way (I hope).

Holy shit, that is horrifying

WHERE DID YOU FIND THIS I LOVE IT

Oh God, I posted a list on Facebook in a wave of nostalgia but I answered honestly and not like, “Oh, people will think I was cool if I say this album even though I really didn’t listen to it until college,” and I just reread it and it’s so basic and embarrassing and I want to take it all back and pretend it never

WOXY!!! YES! Oh man, I hung onto that online broadcast for as long as I could! I still miss it every day.

Same here. Literally all white men. And more nu metal than I usually admit to mixed company

Ooh I haven’t seen this is gif form! Stealing first future use. I wish I was as cool as MBC and could just post this on every story related to politics or... anything, really. This is reality now. If we tare crazy pills when the normal world is crazy, does that neutralize us? Or would it spin us out into an oblivion

Tried to find a photo of Jack saying this, found this instead. I enjoy the extra layer.

That’s amazing! I applaud your initiative. Sounds like either option will at least make you feel like you’re doing SOMETHING instead of just staring into the abyss...

I thought, after two months, I had moved past the paralyzing abject horror of this happening, that I was moving on into the “what can I do” productive phase. This just reset me back to zero. Or lower, because this is just the beginning.

I don’t have anything to add to the conversation except to compliment the excellent photo choice. Kudos.

Nooo, this cannot be real!

You are killin’ it today with the gifs

This is me until... well, until I die, I guess

Thank you for introducing me to this gif

“Angie! Just start!”

Damn you, you got me with that one

On 71N in Ohio, heading out of Cincinnati toward Columbus, there’s a big barn with a Confederate flag painted across the whole roof. It’s faded, but it’s been there as long as I’ve been driving. And even after all this time, my first thought when I see it is how badly I want to burn it down.
