I’m just going to leave these here:
There’s more pedantry in this thread than an NAMBLA convention.
“Unsafe At Any Price”
Awesome. I look forward to reading any future iteration of it if it comes to pass. Best of all, you’re all but guaranteed an inexhaustible pool of candidates.
I would like to see more articles from David Tracy (his inline 6 worship series is great, BTW) and the Practical Enthusiast. As a father of 2 kids at or under the age of 2, I am relegated to vicariously enjoying the experiences they describe because I just can’d do any of that anymore.
Secondly, I would like to offer a…
David, I think your dedication is wavering. The David I know would have asked his friend to scoop up the XJ and offer to spot him the money later. This should have been a foregone conclusion.

No one should be permitted to vote NP on this unless they’ve test driven one of these turds. Then they can make the decision fully knowing it’s an underpowered death trap. I’d say it’s unsafe at any speed, but that would imply the damn thing could actually get up to speed. A few years back, the wife and I test drove…
I’m going to say Subaru Baja (bonus points if equipped with a sunroof).
