The less things change, the more they stay the same.

At least until the universe reaches thermodynamic equilibrium.

See what happens when you go in expecting nothing? You enjoy yourself!
Too many people say, “It wasn’t what I expected...” and they lose points in my mind...

I also enjoyed the movie (also never read the books) and felt the movie had a nice creepy build and was overall happy that with the experience.

You wouldn’t be alone in that minority. I’m a very big fan of Jeff VanderMeer and Annihilation was the first book I read of his. I knew the film was going to be very different from the source material but I got what I wanted: a movie I enjoyed very much that stood well enough on its own. While it would’ve been cool to

Eh, my friend and I liked it a lot, and while more popular with critics than regular viewers, it does have a 65% user rating on RT. I have read the books, but they changed quite a bit, though it had some of the same emotional effect on me as the books. I was surprised it was sold out at the first theater we tried, as

I liked it too.... my fear is that this movie, being too far out there for most viewers, will do bad at the box office, and the other 2 movies of the trilogy will not get made.

In my daydreams, Obama walks in, says “How about a nice Hawaiian Punch?” and decks him!

Ahhh Fox News you’re so predictable.

I work in Springfield and, like your building, ours hasn’t switched over to AC yet. I have 2 workstations, 3 monitors, and a laptop going in my office and it was warm. Luckily, I have an office with no windows so, while warm, wasn’t as bad as the offices with windows. They were hot as crap. Most of those people left

Make up your mind, Florida. Are we firing our loads or what?

He’s proposed a budget to increase spending by a tiny amount over last year’s proposal. The proposal has not been agreed to yet.

Mara Jade, Kyle Katarn and Revan would be my top three.
