This is not my favorite Si, that being the previous generation for its styling, but those are starting to fetch stOOpid money, proving that analog driving is very much still in demand as cars continue towards the abyss of being a computer on wheels with 2 pedals.
Yeah the 914 is not a budget Porsche anymore. Hasn’t been for a while now
It’s crazy to me that In-n-Out hasn’t made it to the east coast. That’s basically the only reason I look forward to going to Northern California for work
C’est un DERAILLEUR, cochon!
The light on the dash being fixed is a major win in the asking price department.
If you have the kind of money you SHOULD have to drive one of these [forget about the downpayment aka ‘purchase price’ ] - you can afford to pay $5K more for a much cleaner story free one on Autotrader or $10-15K more for a MUCH nicer example.
Absolutely this
The challenge you will have is, especially with that car, they are never making anything remotely like it again. EVER. And it is about to go logarhythmic in its appreciation as BMW continues its endless march deeper into the abyss with fuck-ugly and uninspired automotive suppositories with 2 pedals and giant grills.
You’ll never forgive yourself if you sell the e39 M5. Porsches are all over the place and made in huge numbers. Trust me, I wish I had never sold me e34M5 and do not feel the same about my 993 even though I sold it in “normal” times. And I LOVE Porsche.
An 11 year old ass ugly Bimmer with even MORE technology added to it? Sign me up...for the asylum
This looks really honest and in one of the better color combos for this first gen. The Gen I is my favorite of all the Miatas as well, so I vote NP. They made tons of these so getting new wheels or refinishing these would not be a ton of coin, and shift knobs are easy and cheap to replace. Nice start to the week
Change your username to “Kinja 4 Times”
Never forget
Sigh...all the fun that never comes here
I saw one of these for the first time the other day - it was a primer grey color, looked better than in pictures and sounded great. However, paying well over sticker for something that is destined to become a commodity [as all other Vettes with the exception of limited runs have] is flat out stupid.
Underrated comment
And yet neither brown nor manual
Be serious, these almost certainly have timing chains. That are probably located at the firewall and also have shitty plastic guides, requiring engine removal for replacement at around 60K miles right after warranty.
That Panamera “wagon” looks amazing.
