No, and oftentimes warranties are way worse in Canada than the US for the same cars.

I’d be going 70 series were I to import one over here. The PITA of going through the motions is worth it to have something truly different in my book.
As many here have mentioned, use case is an important attribute of what makes a car/truck “slow” compared to others. My old FJ62 was pretty damned slow, but it would make it to 75-ish on a highway in a pinch [though I preferred to avoid highways if at all possible, taking it over to Martha’s Vineyard 3x was worth it]
Man that must have been interesting. Driving a manual 240D on a flat road at sea level is already something else
Agreed, the only things I hate about it are non-defeatable parking sensors unless you put it in park [absolutely sucks in a drive thru] and that the climate controls are inexplicably buried 2 menus deep on a fucking touchscreen. There is also a bright green “P>>>” and “BSM” for parking sensors and blind spot monitor…
True. I would never want a diesel in the US with how cheap our gas is either. Diesels are great for offroad and not much else when you consider our setup over here
Love my GX, it’s great if you don’t need more than 5 seats, though the ride is very truck-ish and it absolutely drinks premium fuel
I’d rather have cloth in anything that old. Especially Japanese. The cloth wears way better than the leather
$10-12K give or take for a 2007-2009 L322 Range Rover, and bank the rest for when you have to replace air struts, brakes, fluids, etc. They are the most reliable of the platform [I have a 2012 and it is a coin flip whether the engine is going to eat its timing chain guides, the 07-09 with the Jag 4.2 SC and 4.4 N/A do…
With the wheels, seats, and purple underhood tubing, I picture someone from the Icy Hot Stuntaz driving it today as an upgrade from the 90s Eclipse or Firebird from their hayday
Star for ‘hot pregnant girl at an NA meeting who’s 40'
So much this
I really really like these STOCK. They had great looking factory alloys and were simple and understated in the looks department. With that said, let’s go down the list:
The guy in the ride report I linked to took one of the very first 1199 Panigales sent to the US and drove it basically flaw free for 20+K miles so I’m sure like everything there are diamonds in the rough [also being run every single day probably helped].
Bronco Sport is going to do silly sales just because of this. I’ve seen a few on the road and they are way more interesting than most of the stuff out there. Some decent [but not enough] color choices too it seems
How was the gearbox/feel of the shifter? Just curious as I only drove the auto version
I love bikes but have never ridden one more than around town. If you haven’t read the story of the guy that drove coast to coast on a Ducati 1199 Panigale S, you need to. His story kept my rapt attention for I think 6 or 7 hours one night. Here it is: https://advrider.com/f/threads/coast-to-coast-and-back-with-an-itali…
As Uncle Jesse said, Manual is 100% going to be a thing. I love this and haven’t given a shit about Nissan in a lonnnnnng time
Came here to say this. Whilst KBB is often shit for anything other than a Camry or F150, proclaiming that “I think it’s worth $5-6K more” is batshit.
99% sure you have to have the car completely empty when shipping/importing through customs
