But this is hardly Jezebel’s first time bringing this up. It’s been, what, a couple years now and still nothing? Not even an anonymous interviewee? Honestly I’m now kinda hoping they DO find someone just so this can be sort of done.
Yeah, maybe I’m suffering from unwarranted optimism about journalistic integrity or whatever.
Yeah it’s not a 1-1 comparison but still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
This is getting boring and a little gross. It’s reminding me of the call for unedited photos of Lena Dunham – skeevy and not what I’d expect from this site.
That’s quite cute! There’s a lot to be said for protecting your intellectual property without being a dick about it. (Google Jack Daniels for another good example.)
The counterargument: Man Repeller. How can she have fun with fashion if men don’t like it? Could it be... SHE likes it? Surely not!
You’re not wrong. And yet, nothing – not even a garbage miniseries – can eclipse the love I have for Tim Curry.
When I read the headline I assumed she’d been fired for SAYING something racist. But no... no.... what a fool I’ve been. :(
It is super feminist, but she actually does care about having kids, and she is in a romantic relationship... that’s sort of a main plot point? She wants to have kids someday and no-really-I’m-American Dr Grant, who is her partner, is kinda ehhhh but his character arc in the film warms him up to the idea.
With that kind of ancestry, what were his parents thinking naming him Robert??
Ah, I see. That’s an important detail. Thanks!
Sorry to be needlessly pedantic, especially as this guy is clearly sitting on a throne of lies, but at least in Canada being adopted by First Nations or native people gives you the same legal status as if they were your biological parents. So technically, being Caucasian does not necessarily mean someone is not…
I think it’s pretty reductionist to sort things (and people) into a category of “feminist” and “not feminist”. Buffy had feminist aspects, and non-feminist aspects, and problematic aspects, and so what? Whedon being a cheater doesn’t change any of it.
NO NO NO NO NO NO. NO.
The outrage over the painting in question was warranted, I think. I’m glad it’s not in this show.
Has no one else discovered the Knixwear Evolution bra? I finally got one this summer and it’s like a whole new world of comfort.
Oh, I know – some things never change.
You know, some days I kinda get it. They can’t objectify us if they can’t SEE us! HAH!
I think you misunderstood! The praise of Patinkin is genuine, he behaved very well.
