Glee is when the common core found out about him. There’s a large subset of musical theater nerds and other adjacent geeks who were aware of him before Glee when he played Harry Potter in the Very Potter Musicals at U of M posted on Youtube.

I can guaran-fucking-tee lots of Mormons in my old tiny Idaho college-town

I think that doing mental gymnastics to defend a character using a slur, joining a terrorist organization, etc can have wider implications re: someone’s politics and values, and I think that a lot of fandom discussions often mirror sociopolitical ones. Snapewife/Snapewife-adjacent discourse was no exception to this,

James joining an underground resistance group fighting for the humanity of people like Lily definitely scores him points in my book though.

True, but the key difference between James and Snape, is James grew up.  In their final year, James dropped a lot of that ego, and THAT was when Lily warmed up to him.

I’ve got one I call “Old Gray Thing” that I always forget to post. It was a paranormal encounter but I’m still not sure what exactly it was, and I’ve always been curious if anyone else has seen one too. I’m doxxing myself if anyone I know reads this, but here goes nothing...

Caution: This story is liable to be triggering for some people.

Not my story - I ‘witnessed’ it, but was a baby at the time.

Brian Blessed is a magnificent gift to everything he’s ever been in.

Don’t forget his turn as Benedick (opposite maybe the best ever DW Companion aka DONNAAAA) in Much Ado About Nothing (which I guess falls in your middle category above?)! Ditto his take on Hamlet, which is indisputably the best take on Hamlet, and which also has Sir Patrick Stewart, ooooo. (Srsly it’s excellent.)

If Andrew thought his daughter deserved a wedding befitting the granddaughter of the Queen, he should have paid for it himself.

Fergie was in fine form, as usual. She jumped out of the car, laughing and pointing, ran to greet the crowd then stopped to frantically wave at them once she got to the top of the church steps. She seems like the fun Aunt you can only take in small doses. By hour 4 and her sixth martini, you’re ready to get away from

No, she Betty
