It is not terribly scary. It is, essentially, a better, more open version of Bioshock, but in space.

I’ve never won a game of PUBG but that hasn’t put me off playing it relentlessly.

Wow, congrats! My brother was just finishing a second playthrough of Persona 5 over Christmas— hard to imagine putting that much time into a game. Must be a relief!

I’ve been playing a ton of Destiny 2 lately, and I don’t see that stopping this weekend. But I am going to try to make some time to continue on in Prey, Okami HD, Metroid: Samus Returns, and/or Pokemon Ultra Sun.

I went all-in on DropMix over the holiday. I liked the voice commands in Rainbow Six 3 of all games and would like an ops-type game like that where the mission rests on your ability to read the situation and bark out orders as needed. “Flash and clear! Cover! Hold!”.

As much as I get how ugly the N64/PSX graphics are, it’s really nice to see a game actually try to explore it. With all the (S)NES nostalgia, I’d actually enjoy a return to exploration with early 3D game design. Plus, the main theme is pretty rockin’.

Without spoiling anything, there are a couple of really interesting levels later in Catalyst. Overall, the main missions are really good, and some of the open-world challenges are interesting, but man that story is just awful.
