Don’t feel like a fool for believing in someone.  That’s a good trait to have.  If you were wrong, and a lot of us were, oh well.  Pick up and carry on being a little wiser.  You were disappointed because they were a disappointment, not because you didn’t immediately assume the worst about a person.

I was a Louis CK fan. Loved his stand up specials and was always eager for more. Even now, I want for him to publicly adress this situation and give at least some semblance of regret and a window into the steps taken to make up for what he did to his victims. Until he does that, he’s dead to me.
