As a Scrubs fan it really bums me out to see Sarah Chalke mixed up in this. How do you go to work everyday with someone like Roseanne?

Are you my spirit animal? There are two women who always talk to each other in my Orangetheory class and it makes me irrationally angry.

Blair’s style will forever be #stylegoals for me. Serena basically just wore a lot of pieces with cleavage cutouts. Lily is the queen of chignons. Vanessa, while gorgeous, was put into some truly heinous outfits. I heard that the Vanessa in the book was goth, and they clearly went in a...different...direction on the

It is definitely worth the watch. The show really leans into how soapy it is without taking it too seriously. Some great music too, and iconic fashion.

I actually really ship Dair too. I know it wasn’t popular with everyone, but Blair and Dan are intellectual equals. Serena should have ended up with that beautiful simpleton Nate.

He also tries to rape Jenny a few episodes later. It seems like they must have not had a clear vision for what they wanted to do with his character, or maybe they just borrowed some personality traits from the real Ed Westwick.

I never thought I’d say this after It’s Always Sunny, but I find Jimmi Simpson strangely attractive.

I don’t know how well received it was, but if you liked those two you should watch Just Go With It with him and Jennifer Anniston. It is truly underrated and randomly also has Dave Matthews (???????) in it who is surprisingly hilarious in his role (???????).

Two things:

I believe it. The CEO of a company I used to work for never bothered with capitalization, punctuation or correct spelling, and it would take me forever to comb through his emails and try to figure out the actual message. Meanwhile us lowly underlings would proofread emails like 10 times before hitting send.

I think you could certainly make a case for that. I err on the side of formal, and I do occasionally wonder if I sound stiff or cold. I guess the moral of the story is that tone is very easy to misinterpret via email.

I’ve always secretly wondered if people who use poor grammar/spelling/capitalization in professional emails were being intentionally disrespectful but I always chalked it up to my own paranoia. Seeing it verbalized like this is just...breathtaking.

As much as I don’t think Carrot Top is funny at all, I do find myself weirdly coming to his defense. I live in the same neighborhood as him and he is locally known for being an incredibly nice guy. Also his live show is surprisingly successful.

That movie is gold.

The Holiday > Love Actually

That horse’s eyes made me so sad. I hope Sir Clops-A-Lot never has to do anything like that again.

Somehow everyone drops the whole feminist thing when the Kardashians are mentioned. I’m not above admitting that I like them, but even if I didn’t, I would have a hard time summoning the amount of vitriol shown in some of these comments. You’d think they were like evil dictators or something, sheesh.

The line “Where do you think we are right now?” always hits me hard.

Iconic.

THIS. I kept waiting for the article to reference this. His performance was memorable in that show. Scrubs wasn’t for everyone, but if you were a fan of it-as I was and still am-then you can appreciate the offbeat humor and unexpected weight of that show.
