There’s “slow boil,” but there is also spending 6 hours of 5 or 6 completely different unrelated storylines (heck the pre-Hobbits never link up to anybody else in the end, did they?). And I’m not even sure some of the storylines developed beyond pushing pieces around on a board. (Though the plot of why the orcs were

Much like with Andor, people just don’t have the patience anymore to let a story develop. In the process, they are losing out on excellently crafted works that reward the patient viewer in the end.

It’s the hands down, worst word to come out of the 21st century. Every time I hear it I want to punch everything. Especially when it’s being used by conservatives to describe anything that doesn’t bow down to the supposed superiority of white/male/Christian/heterosexual.

Woke is just a catch-all term that, to them, describes anything remotely left of center to their worldview, which is so far to the right that basically anything could fall into that purview.

Yeah, I see people complain about professional reviews because they’re “bought off”, but on the other side of their mouth, they claim to only follow user reviews and it’s....*gestures to the cesspool* really, THAT?

They usually can’t define it because what it really means to them is: “A slur I’m still allowed to say”

Well, if your goal is to farm Steam points for use in the Points Shop, then leaving a /s is antithetical to those ends.

It’s. About. Integrity. In. Games. Journalism.

Most people would be hard pressed not to believe a story like that, considering what the general fan base for most games is like. I’d certainly use a /s if I were doing that sort of thing, because I know few people will get that it was meant as a joke.

So I will throw in here that that Steam post from the tweet in the article is almost certainly parody and not genuine, though it is mocking genuine arguments that are present on the Steam Forums they seem to have witnessed.

Gamers aren't oppressed, but they *should* be.

Anyone who uses the term “woke” to downplay something has typically been unable to actually give me a definition of what the word even means. They just don’t like it, so therefore it’s “woke”.

This world is becoming dumber, I swear..

Exactly he has said numerous times, usually in a video about building a new storage server, they never delete anything they have all the raw footage and final edited videos in their massive storage arrays.  He and the channel will be fine at best this is a pain in the ass, though I don’t think he will has issues

I’m assuming that a tech YouTuber would have backups of all his old videos, so you’ll probably be able to view them again eventually even if YouTube can’t undo the damage.

A friend of mine had something similar happen to him last year. YouTube was able to help him recover it and get his videos all restored, so I’d assume that there’d be similar protection for a channel the size of LTT. Fingers crossed!

POV: You’re Ben Shapiro, and after signing Gina Carano last year, to stick it to the “woke libs” at Disney, you immediately hire Justin Roiland to make an original animated series for The Daily Wire. But the animated series he gives you is about a middle-aged man named Scroobly McDoobles whose favorite hobby is

Or rather “you can’t prove I beat my partner,” so even below that already low bar.

I was willing to give the guy the benefit of the doubt, but once he said that, I knew he was full of crap. Kind of like when a “health expert” mentions “toxins”.

Might want to address all the grooming, sexual harassment, and super creepy behavior before you take a victory lap. “I didn’t beat my partner” is not a great place to leave things when you’re on record trying being very sexually inappropriate with teenage girls.

Just watch Roiland pivot hard into the Right wing grifter ecosystem complaining about being ‘cancelled’
