I heard one of the new twisters in the movie is revealed to be the son of one of the original twisters, bent on revenge.

No offense to de Bont, but the last movie he directed came out 21 years ago (Tomb Raider 2), and he publicly retired in 2012.

Directors of these type of movies need to hire some of the YouTubers who seem to be able to do a much better job.

If the quality of what little dialogue is shown here (and the performance of it) is consistent throughout the film, it’s going to be a schmaltzy disaster.

The Deku Tree as a setting/lego set isn’t that exciting to me but I have to admit it’s very well done and very cool that it has both the OoT and TotK versions (and various cute details for both)

I assumed they were being cagey because there are obvious ways in which books two and three could each be split into two seasons if they wanted to dive more deeply into the story. So at this point I imagine the real plan is: “We’re approving you for between two and four more seasons depending on how the writing goes”
