Only 3 minutes?  Come on, man, treat yourself.

I shave in the shower, also I’m been trying a thing where I brush my teeth while washing my hair. So my showers are about 10-15 minutes now.

This is such a huge loss. A very talented actor and he always seemed like such a good guy the way he’d interact with the Destiny community. He really seemed to have fun with it. What a bummer. RIP.

He took roles that might have been memorable in other hands and made them unforgettable. He was a true titan and clearly so kind. Devastating.

Rest in peace guardian.

This exactly. The show has taken small, but important strides to make events that take place in the second game more palatable to wide audience once they occur. Joel is less sympathetic, and Ellie is more overtly drawn to violence, which means that it will be easier for TV audiences to swallow Joel’s death and Ellie’s

And let’s not forget the violence that was probably drilled into her in military school as well. All Ellie has ever known in her life has been connected to violence in one way or another is the violent world she was born into and never had a parent to protect her from it (except for Marlene who was almost always super

I’m going to say this without being ugly or mean (unlike quite a few of these responses - since when did commenting on the internet HAVE to be about being a dick?).

Ellie, in the games, makes no sense. Just like Nathan Drake makes no sense. Just like, honestly, Joel hardly makes sense. To be able to go out of your way

I think you really missed the thread on game Ellie. She’s always been drawn to violence. Her trauma after killing the hunter to save Joel was a matter of suddenly facing the reality of violence, vs the fantasy she’d been living with for so long.

I’m currently playing through Part II for the first time and it’s extremely compelling to see Ellie as an absolute psychopath. If anything the show is laying down a proper foundation that makes it more believable and less dissonant that Ellie is brutally murdering the hell out of everyone in her way. The “this isn’t

Ellie shoots dogs with exploding arrows, show’s gotta get her up to that point somehow.

Not sure I agree with your take, but working in a juvenile correctional facility with kids who are around significant amounts of gun violence I can say that it’s pretty normal to react like Ellie does in the show.   Gang/street kids tend to revel in the violence as a way of processing and mentally surviving.  At that

I am not sure I agree with this take - I don’t think Ellie “likes” violence for violence sake - I think she, like many characters who tend to be violent, is drawn to it because of the power it allows her to feel over a world in which she had largely been powerless. I don’t think its unreasonable to assume that many in

Really wish people who have absolutely no understanding of the internet would quit trying to control it. Boomers have no idea what terms of service is, how even a place like 4chan has moderation, etc. I  mean shit, at the basic level, shouldn’t they understand these are private businesses?

So, the Twitter Files pretty much revealed that Biden’s campaign asked Twitter to remove non-consensual nudes of Hunter Biden, while glossing over the fact that Trump’s administration was also demanding that Twitter remove things people tweeted that were just...mean comments Trump didn’t like.

Republicans have once again proven they don’t want to govern, they want to RULE. Thankfully they’ve also proven how incredibly lazy and incompetent they are with legislation.

As a TSLA shareholder (since before Elon was still on the Hank Scorpio line and not the Mr. Burns side of things) I have voted ‘no’ on his comp and positional statements for years. I will vote him out happily when a large investory actually pushes it.

As someone who worked on it... I’m happy you finally gave it a real chance and got some enjoyment out of it. :)

So, in other words, the right hand didn’t talk to the left hand. Part of the development team was building a ‘shooter on rails’ experience while another part of the team was building an open-world exporatorium. And NEITHER team communicated enough to identify an obvious incompatibility with those two approaches.

Maybe because I’m a long-time Bethesda player who’s used to ignoring the main quest to go exploring; maybe because I’m not a CDPR fan (only played Witcher 1, didn’t like it, can’t stand Geralt) who didn’t have any “Witcher 3 but with cars” expectations; maybe because I didn’t watch all the hype reels they put out...
