This sounds like it could potentially go lower carb with the right sweetener. (Yeah I’m that guy right now. Thanks lazy free loading pancreas.) Something powdered like Swerve could work.

I am SO fucking tired of that word.

*homophobic cauliflower

Man...if I hadn’t tried Fried Cauliflower I’d agree with you, but if prepared properly, omg, it’s one of the most delicious things I’ve ever had.

I want to try it out of spite and also don’t want to give one dime to the Cathey family. In the end, I’ll pass because the Cathey family is so odious, but I’m sorely tempted.

This whole thing struck me as odd.

Well, damnit, now I want to try this out of pure spite.

I never understood why people that don’t want to eat meat are always looking for a way to eat meat.

I thought pasta was the pasta of seafood restaurants

You’re right, I don’t know. I pretty regularly consume the best of the meat alternatives out there, and none of them really impress me as a substitute. I choose to use them not because they’re just as good, but because I believe it’s the direction we need to move. But none of them is amazing. And wild Pacific salmon

I think the point was that with salmon, the probability of missing the mark is greatly increased over other meat options considering how picky people get with salmon already. When you buy, say, chicken, you buy white or dark meat. Some might also look for free range, but I honestly can’t tell the difference in most

Restaurants will just charge the same price (even if it is cheaper for them to get). Plant burgers cost just as much as regular burgers for the consumer. Thinking that corporations will pass on savings to the consumer is extremely naive.

Plant-based omega-3 (ALA) are not the same than the ones found in fish (DHA and EPA) and have fewer health benefits. You can eat flax seeds all day long if you want, you still won’t have the omega-3 contained in fish and fish oil.

Thank god. I really wanted this to be good and not just Shyamalan wasting another good cast like in Old.

Prep your ingredients and toppings, basically! I usually sautée up some mushrooms, spinach and sausage for my pizzas. I’m a more-is-more type.

My low and slow method is based on the fact that my stove doesn’t have a small simmer burner, I can’t get that perfect spot to cook stews. I don’t have room for a crock pot. So, it’s into the oven at 250º.  Side benefit: It keeps my little house warm.

Prior to making your stew be sure and make an easy no-knead bread in your Dutch oven to go with it. I recently discovered that this is a thing, and I’m hooked on it. I never thought turning out tasty fresh baked bread could be so easy.

I seriously doubt this is the most unhinged take.

Also what works in video games. Going from room to room deliberately killing everyone you see wouldn’t really work in a movie or tv show context.
