I agree...they are still making lots of $$$. Why do we care if Russia wants to blow stuff up in the middle east, we have been doing it for years, how have we benefited by this...our friends the Saudi’s have done nothing to help us in the region, EVER. I under stand that we need allies in the region but NONE of them

    my new profile pic.

Its a ground breaking, state of the art stealty aircraft...it needs time to get everything running at 100%. This has to be one of the most complex weapons systems ever built...Are we at war, why do we need to rush this?

    2 Abrams...thats amazing.

Is this sounds classified no? if not, why help advisories?

And when do the nukes rain down on china? I think they missed that part...

    what are these?

Ohh the tactics you could employ by having F35s out in front of a flight of F15s/F16s/F18s.

You have some impressive knowledge between you ears Tyler. Always looking to expand my own by coming to FA.

How did the SBD Devastators do at Midway?

They could have done most of this testing on the ground....they knew the laser was not strong enough...why go thru all the effort and $$ to build this...if after 20 seconds of actual thought anyone could realize that this project would never work.

Great article....much needed aircraft. Hopefully they decide to build the “stealthier” one in your latest post, these puppies are getting old.

I would not want to look at that at 80,000 feet....

Why do we keep using these...haven’t we learned how susceptible they are....big targets, no armor, no real protection and slow...a lot of good men on board. I dont know what the solution is, but its not this....was it the way they were used in Afghanistan?

Glad everyone came out alive, speedy recovery.

How far can this see? Can it detect incoming missiles before its too late?

would be more effective if the missiles had a longer range, Hellfire has 5 mile range.

That 2012 engagement was in the merge...not BVR. if it was BVR F22s could sneak right up their tail

that was on missile tech 50 years ago...they are pretty good now.

yea, keep listing to the guy with down syndrome in the video
