That actually doesn't sound too bad. I love my alone time, though, because I rarely have any. I did have my first Orphan Christmas this year (my parents flew out to visit my sister after fighting with me, yay!), and honestly... I thought I'd be sad, but it was the best holiday I've had since I was a kid.

Had a very sober night, so I plan to start drinking at 3:00 this afternoon. Tea time. Except with champagne.

My stepdaughter's six, and her mother still sleeps with her at the other house. In fact, so do the kid's great-grandparents, with whom she spends a great deal of time.

    I like your style.

Let us drunk together. Everyone is stupid. Massive third round of internet hugs. <3

    Making History by Stephen Fry.

Oh man. I have no words of wisdom, but I offer you a glug (or four!) from my wine bottle. Men! Holidays! Fuck 'em all.

    Arrrrgghhh, I hate the holidays.

Spring rolls! I actually make a special kind of beef (sort of like a light stir-fry) to go in them, and I load up the fixings. It gives you and your date something to do with your hands... other than... the obvious, and keeps the conversation moving, I've found. I think interactive food is the way to go. Serve

    I like your style.

Allison said something during the show about just wanting to finish the challenge gracefully, and she definitely made the best out of a really cheesy situation. I bet she listens to a lot of Cocteau Twins. Her song's been playing in my head on repeat since Wednesday. Allison for the win!

Buying generic brand soaps, shampoos, and lotions don't matter a whole lot in the long run (although shampoo brands tend to vary pretty drastically in what they do to my hair, so I tend to shop for something around $4 a bottle on average).

buaaaahahahah. That is the greatest thing.

Yeah, I think Tiffany and Jessica are the aces in the hole, so to speak, if they're going to try and break into the US scene.

Hah. I meant to type "Olivier," not Victor.

I don't know how I feel about that either— on the one hand, I know their Korean interviews are carefully manufactured, since their "idol" status is taken really, really seriously over there. After watching a lot of their interviews, I wonder how they'd do with American media, whose sole motive is to find a scandal

Yes!! It was supposed to come out on the 5th, but they pushed the release date back, I thiiink, so they can do a US release of it as well.

Oof, have you heard Robyn's Body Talk albums? Fucking amazing.

    Nice!

I know I've already said this on Jezebel, but there have been so many theme-heavy challenges, that it's REALLY hard to see who is a good designer... or, at least, harder than it has been in past seasons.
