@somethingclevergoeshere: Hear, hear!
@boxohornets: Seconding lazyflies, but then there was also that borderline inappropriate (or maybe totally inappropriate) scene where Glenn ran away from home and ended up at the Drapers' house.
Anyone in New York who is complaining that America is "no fun" anymore... please step away from your lifestyle column, and go on vacation.
@accesskathryn: Eric Black, the gay teen runaway who ended up living with them (and ultimately killing Amy's stalker— drama!).
@accesskathryn: I thought that too, actually. Freddy even says as much, right after he tells her that the boyfriend won't respect her. I thought that remark was less of a judgment on Peggy, and more of a reflection of Freddy, and men like him.
@Miss Jade: Helloooo, Sailor!
@Zulkey: I bet she's having fun collaborating with her daughter. And it probably doesn't hurt to start branding herself with a younger crowd again.
Alison Pill, girrrl, you look lovely!
#10, I loved your illustration.
I never even knew there might be a ladybug shortage.
@Tomicat: This is seriously my favorite. Lovely job!

To the commenters who are particularly broken up about this movie adaptation:
@WhoreHound: Silverstein did lots, lots more than children's books! Aside from his Playboy cartooning gig, he wrote songs (a few of them were big hits, including "A Boy Named Sue").
I really can't hate Hefner either. After reading Shel Silverstein's Around the World travel diaries for Playboy, I have a newfound respect for Hef and the friendships and creativity he cultivated back in the magazine's heyday.
If I were filming a movie with that costume, you'd better believe I would go stomping around in that all day.
I can't really help but like Taylor Momsen... and this isn't even my kind of music.
