I wouldn't be surprised if her reaction has something to do with her now facing thoughts that her own child is not immortal, or if her child is saying she gets upset and misses her friend everything she sees the memorial. I'm in no way defending her actions, but rather trying to see it from multiple perspectives.

Wait, what? I'm confused. Why does uric acid build up get brought into the convo? Maybe my reading comprehension is failing me this evening and I just need more wine..

Yes, but the authors can be quite vindictive. Jez was following me until I recommended an unpopular post, then suddenly I was unfollowed and sent back to the grays. Despite countless stars, insightful comments and even regular posters following me to get me out of the grays, Jez won't follow me again. It's sad when

Sorry for trying to contemplate someone's motivations and not automatically perceive them to be 100% evil.

Yeah and I'm fine with that. I was merely contemplating motivation.

I completely agree with that. I lost a pregnancy at 5 months so technically was never a mother, but even my mourning for that child doesn't really cease. Not comparable to losing a child, but knowing what I felt when I lost someone I never even met, I can only imagine what it's like to lose a child.

That brought tears to my eyes. I'm so glad the ring found its way home.

Totally do not agree with this woman's actions, but I think they may be reflective of her inability to cope with what happened. I'm wondering if her actions mean that she's actually having a difficult time dealing with the death of her child's friend, or if her own child is now asking tons of questions about death and

Seriously, why does she get to decide when mourning should cease? wtf?

This is clearly much easier for toddlers to understand...

I love that your avatar is Doctor Cat.

I like Citizens Against Humanity, but for some reason gender specific versions just rub me the wrong way. I also don't really find this one to be funny. At all. Maybe I'm just not getting it or I've become bitter at the ripe age of 31.

My husband has been following this putter since it was first released, and was quite interested in the science behind it. He told me this story last night, and I was devastated that a trans woman killed herself (hits close to home as my sister was more male), and at the same time I felt conflicted because she did

As an aside, why is Lifetime Movie Network moving away from movies in favor of hour long shows about killer kids? I assume there is some sort of demand for the shows or the network wouldn't be showing them, but it's really frustrating that the "movie network" now rarely shows movies.

I'm not sure why, but this doesn't really strike me as surprising.

In case you missed it. I should have noted that!

And they keep sharing these posts in Facebook with the tag "ICYMI". They're loving the fucking attention. (Not sure if the "they" is Jez writers or someone at GM, but still disgusting nonetheless and even more so if it's a Jez writer doing it.)

So, someone at GM or Jez keeps sharing these articles on Facebook saying, "in case you missed it (icymi). They're loving the attention, press and outrage. They're asking for more. This is fucking disgusting.

I know nothing about real estate law but vaguely recall that in certain states you have to disclose "hauntings". Though disclosing it as haunted and including that nifty tidbit in the listing are two totally different things.

Has Mark been sent to try to appease the annoyed/frustrated/disgusted reader population?
