If they already have a gaming PC, a decent VR setup is just 400. Budget ones are cheaper. People do that with console games all the time.

Pretty shitty take to have, my dude. They have workers that also have to deal with this too, likely with kids and so on. Maybe consider that before spouting off an entitled, selfish opinion.

Yeah that sounds about right tbh. I tried Temtem and just couldn’t get into it. Maybe when it gets more complete I’ll enjoy it but it’s just not there for me.

Unpopular opinion I guess, but I think it’s fine?

The fact that it’s Bandai Namco should have been literally everyone’s first hint that it would be a copy and paste of everything that came before it.

Pretty much this. The reason gaming hasn’t been pushed forward is because no one wants to take the risk to do so. I’ll give you that gaming has boomed because people started mass marketing to people, but it also caused everything to be cookie-cutter bullshit and the best thing we’ve had that pushed the bar was Witcher

Then find another hobby or live within your means. There’s a lot of things I or other people want to do but they can’t afford. Raging about it isn’t going to change the price point. Best thing you can do is wait until the price goes down. It sucks, but gaming has always been an expensive hobby. Point your finger at

Yeah I have no sympathy. I also don’t agree with Ninja. They shouldn’t be given special treatment because they’re content creators or influencers. If anything, all that kind of thing does is show favoritism or make others believe that they can cheat and get away with it too. Make examples of them. Hold them to the

ya know I’m kinda mad my grocery store doesn’t carry my favorite brand of soda alternative. I’ll probably just riot and harass the store and that carries it and the company that makes it until it goes elsewhere.

This would be the first good step but I doubt you’ll ever see this happen in corporate america without some serious infrastructural changes.

Sadly if they lowered dev costs (while I agree they should) less people would buy them. How many times does a game that looks fine comes out, only to receive “looks like shit” or “looks like it’s still in beta”

Ninja Theory doesn’t really do AAA gaming anymore, and CD Projekt Red is a massive outlier. You can’t pick one of the best selling games arguably of a generation and say “Well it made money fine so what’s the problem”

My first hedgehog passed away from WHS after months of expensive vet trips and syringe feeding. At the time, due to its nature, I wasn’t sure if that actually was the cause or if it was because I was an awful owner, and didn’t actually know until I got the necropsy results back.

man if Graham and Twitch proper were half as adamant about punishment toward the crappy streamers they have that break state laws (Dr. Disrespect and some others) I might actually give his opinion some thought.

Personally I think it’s the next big thing. Pancake gaming has essentially run its course. A lot of what people see has been done a million times over and it’s ridiculously expensive to do and there’s all kinds of issues with AAA development now. But VR adds something different to the mix, and that’s very interesting

Celebrity culture is honestly ruining people lol

Pretty much this. I feel like the controller and being able to use it as such is what’s worth it. The fingers are beneficial, but in an ecosystem like VR you can’t make every game require knuckles until they get more prominent or you’re leaving a bunch of people out.

No one was trying to make the scene less gay. They were just translating as-written. It’s pretty obvious that Kaworu has feelings for Shinji, but those things can be translated in multiple ways via the japanese language. Raging at a word change is kind of ludicrous if the meaning is still the same.

The really crappy thing about this is I can confirm it’s true. I don’t work for any game development studio, but I did work as a contractor for a big multinational bank. We had to park in a separate parking two or three blocks from the main office, had different color badges, didn’t get invited to a lot of the

Yeah nah fam lol
