I have played FF7 approx 35 times in the last 22 years of my life, I’m not playing FF7R expecting FF7, I’m playing FF7R for a BRAND NEW VISION of the game I played 22 years ago.
Hell yes Source Engine 2. I’m an aspiring Unity dev, with an eye on VR, but I just recently read that the ‘Robot Repair’ scene in The Lab—which is otherwise Unity-based —actually runs on Source 2. It’s such a fun demo! (If a bit short.) 😁

Then games need to go up in price. The $50-60 pricing model has not kept up with inflation. At all. It’s either get this game with some minor microtransactions, or we will increasingly not see these games much at all.
