And are you talking about existing QX50s?

Curious to know more - people go on test drives and complain about something, that something being the CVT?

Yea, the target market for this thing is definitely enthusiasts that want to row their own. I bet if it had a manual we’d see these at the track all the time.

You’re gonna wish it had ten 10mm sockets after you lose all nine.

The speed differential is so massive the Civic almost looks like it’s standing still at the time of impact. I wonder, had Autopilot stayed on, if the Tesla would have changed lanes on its own quickly and safely enough?

The US Dept of Energy claims that delivery trucks and light trucks/vans travel an average of 12,000 miles per year. If you assume 261 working days in a year you get an average journey of 46 miles per working day.

When I was in Salt Lake City last year for a ski trip I was impressed to see so much public charging infrastructure. While it’ll take time to build more chargers, as long as some are accessible in residential areas, others are available downtown, and more are installed in parking lots, EV owners will be just fine.

For me, the thrill of having a different (not necessarily new) car every 4 months is enticing. I want to try something different, just for fun. I don’t see many issues with spending an hour every 4 months swapping to a new car - I don’t worry about car seats, and just need to throw my snow brush into the new car. And,

The point is that technology evolves and that changes manufacturing, products, and consumer needs. You want the “good ol’ days” for one thing but not another.

“I don’t want your fancy technology and opulent screens” he said, as he typed on his thousand-dollar portable computing device. He pined for the days where arguing on the Internet meant nobody in the house could make a phone call, and the bulbous monitors were 800 pixels wide as God intended.

Important to note that this is still a concept/design study so there is plenty of time for Infiniti to make this bland before production.

Why does this make you so angry? You prefer 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8? Or GLA, GLB, GLC, GLE, GLwhatever? Or A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8? Oh wait, here’s a fun one: Q3, Q5, Q7, Q8. So exciting!

Fair enough.

The ID.R has a 12-mile range because it was designed specifically to break the Pikes Peak record, which is a 12-mile course. So divide 12 by the length of the track you have in mind and you’ll get your answer.

That’s not the point. If I compare the performance of a $70k Model S to a $35k Honda you would ask how come I’m not using the Model 3 instead.

Why are you comparing a $150k car to a $70k car and complaining about its price, when (as you mention) the base Model S is a direct competitor in terms of price.

Lol @ “trails by 1/10th”. Those numbers came in pristine testing conditions and in the real world the difference is basically zilch.

Design is extremely subjective, though. I think the grill is fantastic, the lights look like wings in flight (if this was a Genesis that’d make more sense).

The biggest lesson I’ve learned recently is that I’m not in a position to say what affects other people and what doesn’t. You don’t actually know that this “has no impact on anyone’s life” just because it doesn’t apply to you. Society has generally curtailed calling things “gay” and “retarded”, and the world hasn’t

The key difference is that black people in that era didn’t just choose to do cocaine, they were sometimes forced (to be more productive on the job) or had no other alternative (alcohol and opium could not be sold to black people).
