What absolutely terrible casting. 

The party was running the 50 state strategy until Obama got elected. He came in and shut it down. That remains pretty inexplicable to me. 

Because they don’t have enough money. 

The DNC has nothing to do with funding house races. That’s the DCCC.  And they give tons of money to almost every house race. 

The vast majority of servers make more than $15 an hour in tips. Doing away with that and forcing most of them to earn less doesn’t seem like a great idea to me. 

Since most would make less money under this system, that is a rational position to take. I don’t think a lot of the people backing this have thought it through. 

Clinton was a very good debater who dominated Trump in debates. It didn’t matter.

I honestly dread the electoral implications of a quick attempt to push through single payer. It will make 2010 look like a walk in the park. It will be our Gallipoli. When single payer is polled, it does well. When anything approaching it is voted on, it gets smashed.
