I dislike Sanders but I admire his consistency here. Any of the people condemning Clinton for “nepotism” sure as heck should be condemning Bernie’s son.

How will it drastically reduce costs? Insurers have something like 6% in profits. Removing that and even assuming less overhead costs, you still aren’t going drastically reduce costs.
If Colorado is a guide (lost about 21 to 79) I imagine national support is somewhere around 25-30%.
I’m no expert but Medicare for or all is still pretty poorly defined. Universal Health Care is what Obama was trying for with the Affordable Care Act as as a first step - Health Insurance Companies would still exist. Under Single Payer, health insurance companies would mostly go kaput (many Medicare for all plans also…
Yes, they are running on it. You understand that they’ve only won in the primaries so far, right?
I know that she and Ben certainly seem like Democrats but most of the indications from that congressional race he ran (the interns were all related to famous Republicans) are at least that he was working on a Republican campaign.
You lead a pretty charmed life, I guess.
By your statement, receiving money from employees at Lockheed makes one a bad liberal. How does receiving money from major defense contractor Boeing not make Sanders a bad liberal? That’s not whataboutism, that’s comparing apples to apples.

Sorry, here’s the link for that.
Private group and individual insurance in this country averages 12% over head. Public Medicare is about 2%. So, at absolute best (ignoring the fact that Medicare is usually subsidies by other plans), we are talking about a 10% savings, I think.
For most people, I’d actually recommend hiring a CPA (at least once).
Aren’t you one of the folks who was also super concerned about them?
Cuomo was the Attorney General first.
That episode where Schmidt couldn’t do laundry though. Ridiculous! We’d even been told beforehand that he secretly did Nick’s laundry. Also, Cece never would have needed breast reduction surgery. That made no sense. I should write a letter.
