I’m glad for you, I really am. BUT postpartum and ongoing maternal depression are no joke and they do change EVERYTHING. Trivial tasks become more challenging with the addition of kids but depression is like adding a millstone around the neck on top of that.

Mocha didn’t cry out in pain. She just put up with the kids and they didn’t even know anything was wrong until I came and told them that Mocha was hurt. The kid who hurt Mocha has no idea what she did, I think. My daughter is sad but she’s not scared.

First off, fuck you. You don’t think I hate myself for this? I blame myself first and foremost, and I don’t need you to add to it.

That’s what they said at the vet’s office on Friday when we had to put her to sleep. I know accidents are frequent and I would never blame others in my situation, but I do blame myself.

Thank goodness Bishop bit her! Bunnies aren’t supposed to bite, my ass!!! I wish Mocha had bit that kid right away but she was so sweet and never bit anyone. Well sort of, I don’t count nibbles and nips because they don’t bleed. She would nip me for attention and it did hurt but never left a mark.

Kisses while being put to sleep..! *Sob*

I would love some nose bonks, chin rubs and ‘why aren’t you petting me?’ nips.
