I dunno. She was so special and silly and cuddly and so many rabbits aren’t.
I dunno. She was so special and silly and cuddly and so many rabbits aren’t.
Thanks.
Thank you.
But that’s not what happened. I was near but I fell asleep.
Do you have kids? If so, yeah hold off until they’re older so that they really understand gentleness.
Please don’t cry for us, I don’t want to make anyone sad.
Go with your gut! Don’t let ANY kids near those precious babies until they are at least 3 months old. And if you’ve got a weird feeling about that kid in particular I would absolutely trust that instinct.
You’re not out of bounds, not at all.
Are you in Europe? Bunnies are mostly kept as pets here in Canada, however there are a lot of meat rabbit farms near where I live because people do eat them.
I will probably talk to the child’s parents in a few days, once the anger subsides. Thank you for your kindness.
That means a lot to me.
That’s tough, I’m sorry.
It’s good you invited them over before committing to cat sitting. What the hell kind of 10 year old picks up ANYONE by their arms, ow! Basically all animals like to be held supported under their front and back legs, it’s not fucking hard.
She liked to lay on her back and lick her paws when she was happy/relaxed.
Yes. 5 is old enough and my daughter has always been so gentle. It was her friend that hurt Mocha. That kid is 4, has no pets in the home, and does not listen well. I never should have left the room.
Thank you for your kind words.
Especially since prey animals shouldn’t want to expose their tummies to predators like us. It really showed me how much she loved and trusted me.
I’m glad you were able to share with others and that they were kind to you.
It’s not fair that they live so much less time than us. I’m sorry for your loss.
She would lay on her back and let me rub her belly
