It looks like you're having fun upside-down though! Plus, you don't need to do anything fancy to get the benefits of inversion. A forward fold or legs-up-the-wall will do just fine :) Best of luck with your practice!

You're welcome! Once you're feeling solid, there are all kinds of variations you can do. So fun!

I agree about it possibly encouraging bad-form or making people want to attempt postures their bodies aren't ready for. However, yoga "selfies" are often used to educate and inspire. Most of the people who are widely followed are teachers who thoroughly explain each pose and give modifications.

I'm a yoga teacher and also enjoy them. it also helps me refine my technique and concretely see my asana progress over time.

I follow her and think her posts are lovely and also an interesting first-hand look into the world of celebrity.

Congrats!

I'm also a teacher and I like to take them to share my love of yoga, while advertising classes/etc. I think it's fine and people need to take responsibility for themselves and not push too hard as far as yoga selfie safety goes, just like in class.

Also, as a fellow kombucha-lover and an amatuer brewer, I applaud your name :)

Awesome locale! Unsolicited yoga teacher advice... If you dome your back and engage uddiyana bhanda by bringing the navel close to the spine (similar to cat pose) you'll engage your core, take pressure off of your wrists/arms, and be able to hold it much longer.

Thank you. I share the same hopes as you.

I did the same thing to prepare for a sad solo viewing of SAC2, except it was three beers, a little pot, and a mid-movie napfest!

You can also use the help forum for your theme and contact the developer. WP will never be as simple as blogger no matter what theme your using, but you can do way more!

Wordpress is more involved than blogger, but once you get the hang of it and use a really great template, it's awesome. It's very SEO friendly and usually highly customizable without any exterior programs, besides whatever you use to make graphics. I have three wordpress sites that I'm pretty happy with. Is there a

I disagree and also don't feel they are mutually exclusive.

I agree... the internet is full of vitriol for unpopular opinions and viewpoints, but I am really happy to see that there's been some really productive dialogue on this thread.

I am not fooled. I cannot speak for the OP, but it is difficult standing up for something you truly believe in to only be shot down and made fun of over and over. I think many people can identify with this. Make no mistake though, vegans and vegetarians aren't the victims here, the farmed animals are. And those

I understand what you're saying. I don't want to speak for the OP, but to me "meat culture" refers to a culture where support of factory farming and the products of it is the norm. This means people actively support the torment of other living beings, who are voiceless, for their own convenience and satisfaction. Any

oops, I accidentally replied to me instead of you!

Wow, thank you. I really appreciate your comment. The amount of vitriol these type so posts get really distracts from the heart of the issue. Is breeding animals purely for torture/to be eaten ok? I think most people would rather argue semantics than look into their own hearts.

Way more plants are grown and consumed due to factory farming. What do you think the animals eat? Going plant-based reduces suffering.
