Thank you for this beautiful piece. I’m not sure if I’ve ever heard the energy of Kali described so poignantly. I am sorry for your loss.

Great!

Now if only they would install some bike lanes... then we'd really be in business!

You're welcome! Also, use your hata bandha and pada bandha at all times in combination with non-slip gear :)

Be open about your wants and needs. If you are entering into a marriage, this is a MUST. Be as open as possible with her, even though she's going through a difficult time. It's essential.

Find a studio that doesn't give a shit what you're wearing... I recommend taking some Hatha classes and adding in Vinyasa after a few months.

Seriously? Boulevard beer plus so many good restaurants in KC.

Whatever... Boulevard Forever!!! And KC has fucking awesome food. Even for a vegan like me.

It's a typo :/

Dude, we're in the exact same boat! Add yiga for me and my digestion in awesome! haha

Just buy a scoby from amazon. It's much easier, then you can use it right away!

For your own sake, I hope you mean 3-5 plus! haha.. Love brewing my own too! So fun!

Hi there! Kansas City-ite here. I recommend Westport (especially Beer Kitchen), The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, The Steamboat Arabia Museum, Haunted Houses in the West Bottoms, and Manifesto Speakeasy.

I listened to the audiobook, read by Mr. Waters. So fascinating!

THANK YOU. I'm feeling quite under the weather right now and this totally made my night. Time to read all the Mark Shrayber articles!

I agree, my Jade mat has started to shred after about 9 months use (over 500 hours of practice/teaching).... I just bought the Manduka Eko and it seems sturdier, but is even more heavy! I still prefer using the natural rubber, despite the weight.

I completely agree with this. Obviously, she constantly works, just not in a way many people are able/willing to relate to.

I don't use Lululemon mats, but if someone is a regular practitioner, a good mat can really help with arm balances, joint support, etc. I recommend investing in a good one that will last a long time. I like jade and Manduka.
