Manchin is absolutely awful. He’s barely a Democrat at all. But, he’s way better than whatever Republican we would get out of WV. Lieberman, also horrible, was a different kind of shitty because he was in a blue state and the alternative to him would almost certainly be a more progressive Democrat. 

I don’t know much about him but from what you say he sounds great. And we’ll see how he fares in the primary. I just want the candidate who can beat Trump.
