There’s info online, but I believe the entire reason Santa is red (and possibly famous) was because of the ad campaigns Coca Cola ran. It’s just so integrated into society that I don’t think people even realize it.

It’s not so strange when you look at Coca-Cola’s links to Christmas as we know it.

A wise man once said, “Don’t do drugs. Drugs are bad, mkay?”

Wasn’t heroin invented to ween people off morphine?

Oh shit, is this like Terranigma?

I always figured gamers were the ones who would get the short end of the stick from all the talks that have been happening. It’s going down a dangerous path if “same kind of chemical response in the brain” is what they’re going to use to determine what’s safe for children. If that’s the ruling, it wouldn’t be

The best I can explain it is from what I’ve seen with Ferrari. They have an exclusive list of VIP buyers, usually the ultra rich, who have a long customer history with Ferrari, and it is extremely difficult to get on that list. I think some billionaire in Asia tried to force their way onto the list by buying 6

They should have a mechanism in place. Their parents ideally.

Have you tried not cheating?

42% apparently. Most of everything else is different types of flour/starches. Thing to remember is potatoes are cheap, and I don’t see them going out of their way to make some sort of mutant substitute.

From what I’ve seen, often EA is buying companies that are at the brink of collapse. I mean successful businesses don’t often sell, seeing as how they’re already succeeding, or at least, wouldn’t sell unless for a ridiculous asking price. A company, bad financially, but maybe a desirable franchise, would be easier to

Yes, I agree. It is still extremely dangerous given the scale of what could go wrong, even if the chances are low. A worse case scenario could have long reaching effects that we could never imagine.

I don’t know. My assumption was that multiple species of rats are still multiple species, because they aren’t regularly cross breeding into one melded species. I figured a gene introduced into, say for example, the Polynesian rat would only impact the Polynesian rat.

Specifically for rats, they are more or less symbiotic with humans, and are everywhere because we essentially brought them everywhere. Would that be OK to wipe out since it’s essentially removing our own footprint?

Kind of reminds me of Hexen

Can we get a distinction here? I don’t think someone who jumps the border and someone who immigrates here legally are the same thing.

In the industry. As I understand it, most (all?) governments do not consider it gambling as the cash flow is in a single direction. Gambling is wagering money for money. Buying a “loot box” guarantees that you’ve lost your money. There are exceptions to this though, like the gambling websites that handled things like

Unrelated. Why is there a picture of R2D2 on the chip? I can’t unsee it.

This is a face palm right here that emphasizes Admiral Asskicker’s point. More than 1 shot per trigger pull is ALREADY the definition of an automatic firearm that is already regulated. If you understood how bump fire stocks work, you’d already know that they do indeed have the trigger pulled once every shot.

I sure hope that research didn’t cost much. Is it that surprising that poorer places have less access to quality medical care?
