I wonder if the commenting on CatCo articles is better than Kinja.

This much trauma over the Phantom(s) Zone ... kinda suggests they’ll be back. They were half ho-hum but they got them up to a legit creepy level a couple times. The PTSD over the Phantoms is scarier than the actual Phantoms.
Like her grief about Mon-El leaving at the star of season three, Kara having PTSD about her time in the Phantom Zone is a realistic consequence that I’d rather the series not dwell on for too long.
Ever the gentleman, Kal agreed to let Kara have the big half. He really just needed the side-cavern and doesn’t want to mess with all that other storage.
I bet if she asked Lena for some cash to keep it out of Lex’s hands, Lena would be more than willing to help. She’d easily make it all back with the bounty of sweet print newspaper advertising income, right? Right . . . ?
I doubt Andrea could afford that. Even keeping CatCO required sneaking into her father’s study and ripping him off.
I’ve written this before, but for some reason, my replies aren’t going through. The only way that the current Superman and Lois series can work is if that series is put a year or two ahead. They do not mention Supergirl because she has already left the Earth or wherever she goes after her series ends. Superman has…
I’m really fearful this show isn’t going to end well. I felt like this episode had negative energy.
I also kept feeling like I was watching a 90s genre show during this hour. Sometimes in good ways (Kelex katamari-ing himself into the monster of the week, Kara yeeting said monster into the sun) and sometimes in not-so-good ways (a lot of mindless technobabble and writing that was unsubtle even by Supergirl’s…
That irritable green creature who lives with the garbage!
All things considered I liked the episode. However I wish we get more with Kara’s dad because him leaving seems abrupt. I do wish we saw Lex or Nyxl this episode just to see whats up. I am just cautious since it’s the last season and hope it ends with a bang
The answer is that they’re in separate continuities except for when they aren’t.
I don’t know if “For fucks sake why?” was supposed to be my reaction to Kelex turning into a trash monster, But that’s what it was. What a bizarre for things to fail to create a monster of the week.
It’s really just the satellite rescue sequence that’s truly bad.
I’m guessing that the big S&L events transpired while Kara was in the Phantom Zone. If only they could’ve duplicated these Fortress of Solitude sets!
As unsatisfying as this might be from a nerd/connected universe perspective, I doubt it, the timing is all wrong, S&L was too focused on building its narrative world, and Supergirl will probably be too focused on wrapping up its narrative world, and thanks to this fucking hellworld plague, never the twain shall meet.
Fuck Andrea and her shitty news judgment. So are we going to get any clarity to this show and Superman & Lois?
oh my Rao, was naming the trash-collecting robot Oscar foreshadowing the turn to the trash side?
Bit of a messy episode, but Trash Golem made it work. (I also would have accepted Oscar becoming a Garbage katamari).
Kara’s side of the Fortress of Solitude is so much nicer looking than Kal’s.
