It’s been driving me crazy for years why I thought I knew Paxton’s character name. I never put that together. I did get Chastity McBryde though.

I was rewatching the episode and Sousa advocating for more decisive action no matter how it changes the timeline. Of course it’s easy for him as for him it’s changing the future from bad one with Hydra infiltrating SHIELD to something better. He’s in the same headspace as Team was in the Broken Earth Future.
Just here to geek out over May using Chastity McBryde as a cover name - a nice deep-cut reference to Miller & Sinkiewiecz’s Elektra: Assassin, which was a well that this show previously went to back in season one with Bill Paxton’s John Garrett.
Wasn’t leaving a lemon on the bed a courting ritual in Deke’s time?
Plus I can sympathize with him wanting some proper answers to some of the things these bozos have been up to (and it will appropriate if Enoch actually is evil).
Sousa at least relented once it was clarified that they were trying to stop an already-extant threat from messing with time.
Daisy and William over on Arrow can get together and compare notes on what it’s like to be kidnapped all the time.
Tee hee, what cheesy opening credits. I especially loved Jeff Ward spinning in his chair to greet the camera.
That extended opening credits, complete with ’70s TV voiceover introductions for each actor, was delightful.
The time they predicted has arrived. There were no missing scenes on CW tonight. The scene where The Gambler hears a noise might have been a bit longer, but only marginally. Guess I can pack it in .
I would actually like to see Mike get the Thunderbolt. It would be a complete accident with him just using the pen and writing “see you”. It seems like the kind of mischief the Thunderbolt would be into and it would raise the stakes for Pat and Courtney considerably. And I’m still not giving up on the creepy janitor…
I loved the whole “Baseballs? Haha, that’s ridic-hey! Ow!” aspect of the fight.
Sportsmaster will always be hokey as hell - but they at least made him *impressively* hokey. That was some great choreography and cinematography for the fight scenes.
Seeing you complain week after week about the episodes ending just as they’re beginning makes me wonder if you don’t know how much worse Titans was about that or if I have been worn down by the DC Universe house style.
If no one can recognise Supergirl why would they be able to figure out who Tigress is?
Is it me or did the music played at the very beginning sound familiar? It sounds like a remix of the theme for the Mortal Kombat movie. Am I right?
Well, Icicle is the one who took out Starman. I think we can assume the other ISA members with powers dealt with Flash and Green Lantern. Tigress and Sportsmaster don’t have any powers and they would’ve killed these kids if STRIPE hadn’t showed up.
One of the things is that the members of the ISA are 10 years out of practice. That takes a toll.
They are unapologetically goofy as hell. It’s actually admirable that they didn’t try to do some kind of leathery modern upgrade and basically kept the designs from the 40's.
Mike invited his friend Jakeem over for dinner in this episode
