I'm aware, and since we're being pedantic that's a damn good point. I normally associate "Swatch" with the Swatch line itself, while thinking of Omega, Longines, etc as individuals given their pre-Swatch history.

I actually preordered the Nexus 5 last year and returned it after holding a Moto X at an AT&T store and opting to get it instead.
I refuse to buy the new one. The original Moto X was the best phone I've ever owned. I'm going to hold out for the next iteration or an updated version of the perfectly sized original.

Not at all. You'll get the G-forces from the action of the coaster, as well as disorientation from the spinning - which is not on a track, meaning that each ride will be different. Once I know the layout of a coaster, I prefer to ride with my eyes closed anyway. Visual cues from seeing the track do actually ruin a lot…
particularly when a rolex will run forever and can be passed between generations. but my gen 1 ipod isn't exactly in the best shape.
the difference of course being that after 2 years the Rolex will still be worth something
People put everything online. It's just something we have to account for now.
I can understand why they might not want it to be continuously reshared by news outlets, given the way that the general public sometimes responds. (Being hateful bigots is awful, but at a certain point, I feel sorry for anyone who's drawn the public eye unwittingly.)
But they asked Daniel to do something for them? Oh he…
Maybe they should try praying away the video.
And what is sane with living under your parents knowing you are exactly what they despise and talk badly about? I'm sure they openly expressed how they hate people who are gay and it's taken a lot of courage and time for him to make the decision to come out. He figured now's the best time because maybe HE couldn't…
I think you're pretending not to get it so you can be judgmental. I'll tell you this, I have recorded (only on tape, this was when I was a kid) my parents beating the shit out of me, and then I would listen to it back. I did this bc it gave me something tangible to work to wrap my head around and "proof" in case…
I can't imagine how difficult it would be to hide a fundamental part of yourself from your family, even if you knew that there would be negative consequences, especially as you enter adulthood. I don't understand why you are casting judgment at his choice.
It seems like he didn't start filming until after his mom started reacting badly. There are already SO many videos out there of parents embracing their child's sexuality—I think it's incredibly important for people to see what it's like when the reaction you get is hate.
And it's possible he told his family because he…
If his family was so quick to assault him I doubt it was the first time.
Maybe he hoped that the people who have said that they loved him all his life would live up to that and accept him.
Maybe he was sick of having to hide it.
Please let me know where to direct aforementioned cookie and I will make it happen.
Yeah...this sort of is like all the ALS ice-water challenge videos: embarrassing to watch and a way for the do-er to feel good about themselves, but ultimately for a good cause.
It's the least she could do after destroying all those homes with that wrecking ball in the first place.
