Man, Apple should just merge with Scientology. They're so close already:

If it's so easy why don't more women just have all their body hair removed by laser instead of complaining about having to shave or wax it all the time?

Now playing

This one's my favorite "surprise reveal" vid:

businesses will never tell you this but they can write off the credit card fees 100%.

Welcome to capitalism. You don't deserve to be in business if you can't cover your costs, and stealing your employees wages to cover you credit card fees is not covering your costs. And please, please take take that " small business, do everything they can, good community members, give to charity" bullshit and

Your not going to win, I understand your sentiment considering your a business owner but it doesn't change the fact that it's still fucked up for an employer to charge an employee when in reality they should simply be charging the customer more.

You repeatedly said "they" and I assumed you meant the company in the article. If you can't absorb the cost of credit card fees you either have to raise the prices or stop taking those credit cards. I realize that a restaurant can't stop taking Visa and survive so you have to raise prices. You can't expect to stay in

You say the business can't afford to absorb the cost, but you think a minimum wage employee can? Instead of a business that grosses $30 million? Think about that for a second.

I don't care about the independent restaurant owner perspective. You DON'T steal from your employees. There is no excuse for this. And even worse it turns out this restaurant is very profitable.

Well... They've been absorbing it well enough the company is expanding without any difficulty. And there has got to be a way to include the tip instead of being charged the second time...

Cost of doing business.

Then they can charge the customers for it, to incentivize cash payment. Charging the servers who have no choice in the matter is ridiculous.

Since you don't get to decide what ruins someone's life, #5 is not hyperbole at all. People commit suicide over rape. People go to therapy for years. I don't even think it covers what some victims face.

Literally everything about this story is the worst.

I understand your concern for those who were murdered (obviously) but this issue isn't black and white. It's pretty clear that Patricia does feel remorseful but this documentary was about her and her life after being a victim of Charles Manson and how she has reflected on the horrendous things she did while under him.

Really? Not taking full responsibility? Even when she explicitly discusses how, when she was on death row, the solitude forced her to take full responsibility for her actions?

She says that during her time on death row, she made the decision to begin taking responsibility for "the damage, the wreckage, and the horror." She goes on to say, "It is countless, how many lives were shattered by the path of destruction that I was a part of."

For a 9-minute film, I'm satisfied that she conveyed

Nice snark. Nothing to say about the story as well but allows us to know that you don't tolerate any deviation in the comment system. (What issue? She helped murder several people and is doing life in prison for it.)

Dammit, I wish I could read more of this instead of having to watch a video.
