Heh, I have the same helmet! I wish mine was painted all cool though...

I always wondered why people tend to balk at anything over 100k on used lots.

So far I've raced a tiny moped, the bluesmobile, and a tiny Mercedes 300SL. This year I'm racing a Ferarri 458 because why not.

...Sort of. You can't sell parts to get back money, and the total outlay to go racoing is only a shade over $500, as compared to the ~$12k it costs to go to LeMons. So yes, sort of. But really, no.

Come to an event where we're racing and I'll get you a seat in a car. :D

Now playing

I'll second the nomination for Power Wheels Racing. Although my second is slightly biased as a participant. In case the weirdness doesn't speak for itself, here's a video:

Aaaaaaah that was my favorite! I've always had a soft spot for both Datsuns and rally cars, so...

What car were you in? I was marshaling and was wondering if you were there.

Exactly right. In this case, the capacitor only holds 12(ish)V. But let' s be generous and use FuelShark logic. They claim that the 35v makes a difference, so I can run it with their (incorrect) numbers and still get the same result: it's worthless.

I just pushed my e28 over 355k this week, and I'm gunning for 500k with no intention of slowing down. :D

Seriously?

Very neatly done! Do you have any more pictures?

Over the past four years we have sold over 10,000 Fuelsharks and monitored our returns and customer feedback vigorously. To date we have had 86 returns and I have personally spoken to dozens of customers that have told me that while initially using the product they tracked their mileage very carefully and saw

The wire is what's valuable, rather than the lights. LEDs still require wore to get the power.

R2?

I can't move past how much the cappuccino looks like a mini-miata. D'awwwwwwww.....

That adventure is a tricky thing. I often feel a bit of that feeling when getting in my car in the morning. I wonder if a wheel will fall off (even though I tightened the lugs the day before). I wonder if all my oil will end up on the highway. I wonder if my brakes will seize, or if they'll randomly start shuddering

I'm not sure what I find more entertaining: the fact that this is real life excitebike, or the noise.

For all the gory details, I can't recommend the Rally America rulebook enough. It's quite the weekend read.
