It felt very contrived. I disliked it very much. I'm quite ready to have the Pond family retired and new blood brought in.

News report in 5 years time: "Sudden infestation of new bee species found in southern United States. The bee species is suspected to have been brought over accidentally by scientists returning from islands where it lived unmolested for years. "

I'm looking forward to Dodger by Terry Pratchett. Disappointed it's not a Discworld novel, but I'll take anything as long as he writes it. Doctor Who and a Pratchett novel. Sept. is an excellent month.

I just watched Earthshock the other day. The ending was quite unexpected. I just sat on my couch for a few minutes doing nothing afterwards.

Perhaps he got confused and mixed up names with masks. Happens to me all the time.

Public Dropbox folder gets my vote. There's not really a reason to sign up for photo sites anymore, and you can organize it on your desktop like any other folder. So easy.

Signed up for the trial, and I have to say the content kinda sucks. There's plenty of reality tv shows so if that's your bread and butter than kudos, but otherwise it's about as starved for content as Netflix is. I tried browsing through the movies offered, but that was just depressing.

If you've got a paypal account you can sign up with that.

Were the Daleks really scary? Yeah, I know the convention is to talk about how one used to hide behind a couch while watching Doctor Who because it was so scary, but how much of that is really true and how much is zeitgeist and nostalgia?

The left is okay with them as forms of personal choice birth control. They're not intended as a greater form of population control. That they also act as a form of population control is a separate issue from the left's support of their usage.

Neither side likes the idea of population-control methods.

Sounds a bit like The Ship except with only two players. I'm intrigued.

Such a scary article topic for a commenting system that allows anonymous posting. But i shall not be dissuaded and will use this as another place to post a related QI clip!

Futurama would have us believe time is cyclical... so it would also be the past.

You said commercial director, and I was confused. Then I realized you literally meant he directs commercials, and I was just depressed. And a screenplay penned by the writer of Transformers 3. Why not bring in M. Night Shyamalan as Producer and Uwe Boll as a consultant and just finish this project off completely?

He's just remarking on the coincidence of a new tech being used by an organization that the GOP wishes to de-fund on a tropical storm currently projected to hit an area where the GOP convention is to take place.

Psych, Eli Stone, and Whose Line are probably the fastest I've liked a show. Some shows didn't do it for me at first. I remember watching the first episode of Doctor Who and thinking it horribly stupid and didn't give it another try for years. Now I'm obsessed. I love Red Dwarf, but I didn't care for it right away

I'd imagine there would be a boon for the ceramic industry.

All people piss me off. They have to gall to be born even though they know they're going to die. Frankly, they're just being unreasonable.
