Would you like to swing on a star...
I think the BBC apologized for that bit to Japan
Every episode can be found on youtube. Starting around the 7th season they off hour long versions of the program. Those are the ones with the XL tag.
And for my requisite related QI clip. Where's the best place to be during a nuclear bomb explosion?
Libraries are awesome. I read too much to afford buying all the books I read so a library is a godsend. If only my local libraries would update their bloody computer system. It's slow, often breaks down, and I think their computers are running ie6 on WindowsNT. /horror
The school had its good points as well. There were some rather excellent teachers, and the school always rated well with the state when it did its yearly ratings. There were just special moments that gave it a unique flavor. One of which I shan't mention until I find out what the statute of limitations is for…
It seemed awesome at the time although now I look back and am a bit dismayed when I consider some of the teaching practices of the various teachers I had. AP Physics teacher who left the classroom during exams so the class could compare answers. Biology teacher who thought reading Jurassic Park was a suitable lesson…
I'm slow. Took me several seconds to figure out what you meant. Witty and droll, sir. Witty and droll.
That's a lovely game-board. I used to love playing Risk. I remember back in high school my AP US History teacher had us play risk rather than do any actual learning. He also cheated. If by some chance someone beat him that student would get a B for that period's report card.
Yeah, it's like a switch you can flick. Kinda fun.
Sigh. Not everything is the same for everyone. I said it was quite the strain on the eyes to look at it. Such unnecessary combativeness.
Why unfriend? Just block their posts from appearing on your wall. You don't have to see their inane postings, and their feelings don't get hurt because you still consider them a "friend."
It's not moving for me, but man it's one hell of a strain on the eyes to stare at that.
Yeah, it was for blast fishing. It's mentioned in the original Daily Mail article.
So if an app currently has over 100,000 they're allowed to keep those and go up to 200% of their current number. Beyond that they then have to get permission for more tokens. Sounds reasonable.
I wish they'd hurry up and find the cure. The world needs Terry Pratchett in it for awhile longer.
Hooray! The world is alright once again.
I thought the BBC confirmed a Sept. 1 launch date at their screening of the first episode a couple days ago.
No mention of the Doctor? I should think it'd be the only thing worth watching starting in Sept.
