Seems like you know your stuff. Can you explain the “CAT” button on stereos next?

Cant’ run turbines on cheap heavy oil and turbines are still crazy expensive. The only large ships that run turbines in any number are military vessels and that’s to do with weight/packaging - IE two LM 2500s are 1/10th the size and probably 1/40th the weight of that beast. They run on kerosene through so cost much…
Two stroke diesels have nothing in common with gas two strokes besides the cycle itself and are not inherently much dirtier than four stroke diesels under the right circumstances. They are the most fuel efficient IC engines on earth.
and it’s probably a bad idea in general to sell a car with a top speed of 174.
Same reason (recuperator) GIs can walk behind an Abrams tank and only get mildly roasted as opposed to flambeed.
You killed proper SUVs. It was you.
Christians.
I know these aren’t trucks but they serve similar markets and the new Frontier is about to come out with a 300hp V6 and a real transmission. The Outback can be specced with a ~180hp H4. They’re functional but compromised vehicles. I’ve ridden in a relatively new Forester with three other skiiers heading up into the…
Electronics have made these bikes so much more tractable. You’d be surprised honestly - I’ve ridden one of the fastest literbikes on the market on a track and coming from my much slower trackbike, it was shockingly approachable because it does such a good job of measuring the twist to the rear tire. The power wheelie…
Audiophiles ruin being an audiophile. You can be an audiophile if you build a good sounding audio system because you honestly appreciate hearing high fidelity music with all the details honestly reproduced. Then your buddy Gary comes over and says something like “ooo but you should really upgrade to lower oxygen…
When people can’t distract themselves with trips to Beaches and pounding drinks at Olive Garden they’re forced to sit around and confront their lives. A fate worse than death.
Now go forth champion and lay waste to our enemies with this terrible weapon we have forged. Biba forever, das auto!
No, they want the body, UHaul never lets these things change hands so that theres no incentive for anyone to steal them, since there’s no legitamate excuse/path to having one without a rental contract in hand.
They are great but UHaul has a solid reason not to re-sell them. If theres no mechanism for anyone besides UHaul to ever own one legitmately then there’s no point in stealing them, because without a rental contract or employment with UHaul, you’re a theif, 99.99% of the time with one of these behind your vehicle.…
Highly doubt there’s GPS in the trailers (trucks likely yes.)
“Flying is, mile for mile, one of the most polluting ways to travel, and you should really do it only if you’re actually going somewhere.”
I always explain that motorcycles have a lot more in common with modern skis than they do cars as far as how fast someone can go on them. All decent skis are good but better ones wont make the average skiier much faster materially - skill is 10x more important. Old powder hounds on ancient sticks will blow your doors…
Also the GT500 is an aluminum block with road racing pedigree whereas the Hellcat engine is an iron boat anchor without much in the way of rapid lateral acceleration in mind. The GT500 motor is objectively a much better platform for a supposed pre-runner lite truck.

For the sort of lower speed off-roading a Bronco is designed for as opposed to a baja inspired rig like a raptor, N/A is better becuase no turbo threshold and no turbo lag. Throttle response is key. Desert style off-roading is the opposite, you’re in the throttle all the time and the turbos are spooled.
